Since the old thread was accidentally deleted, I've made a new one that is now my blog. Haters gon' hate up in this! I might copy and paste the entire thing to a proper blog if I can be arsed. For now - you are my captive audience. Brace for autism and aspergers, ITS MMO INTERNET SPACESHIPS ONLINE SERIOUS BIZ FIGHTING TIME
In the Blue corner we have Toot - representing the Clusterfuck Coalition, coming to rescue the Honeybadger Coalition.
In the Red corner we have Wolfy - representing the Southern Coalition.
RECAP:
There was Honeybadger (PL and Test) fighting in delve against the residents there, (Wolfy being one of them) Everything was going smoothly with plenty of goodfights. Now from what I hear, Delve residents formed their own coalition - but somehow, things turned nasty. Gone were the goodfights - enemies came in to help the delve residents and things quickly turned against the now hugely outnumbered Honeybadger. The entire south-east of the map formed a coalition(except CVA because they are faggots) Called SoCo - southern coalition.
The Clusterfuck, getting complacent after a couple of months with no major war was told we are going to deploy to Delve. Mittens decided in his state of the goonion address that the battle plan was as follows:
Sweep Delve, Querious and Period Basis. No good fights, just pile as many people in there as possible and kick everyone out through violent anus destruction. Meet the oncoming russian hordes head on. Oh look! Analogy time.
The decadent west against the poor hardworking east. This is VIETDELVE, PERIOD KOREA, QUERIOUSISTAN.
Then its onto -A- arguably the biggest alliance in the SoCo (but not the best, they are terrible) , taking their home systems and kicking them back to empire.
When the dust has settled, vassals, protectorates and puppets will be installed in the conquered regions. --------------
Enough backstory, what has happened so far?
Nothing. CFC/Honey badger have made -A- our bitches. The majority of the grunts are running about in frigates and battlecruisers looking for small gang warfare. On major fleet actions we outnumber them like 4-1 and they dont fight. This is demoralising to their pilots because they organise a time to fight and then tell their pilots that they can't play their own game and to stay in station or log off. While this is going on the capital ship fleet are flipping sovreignty across most of delve with no opposion (yet?) Whats going on moving forward?
Lets find out.

So what happens if some random unaffiliated pilot decides to take a stroll through that part of the Eve neighborhood? Do folks immediately see him and say, "ooh, a target, let's kill it!", or will they generally leave that pilot in peace unless he has done something to earn their wrath? Is it like gang warfare, where they assume that if you are not with them, you are against them, and hence a legitimate target?

It's going to be NBSI (not blue, shoot it).
[PS:] How many times do people have to delete Eve threads? Need to declare war on the admins.

I almost deleted this one again because I was deleting spam and you reported your own post causing this thread to light up like a Christmas tree. Mashup or Ninja might actually be able to undelete things but I wouldn't know.

Oh it wasn't me this time? That's nice to know. I'm sorry, but I assume you'd rather I accidentally delete one thread when clearing out 8+ of them at 5 am then having to wait until I wake up again.

Guilty: It was me. I messaged Toot right away to let him know that I had been a complete arse. I've asked ITNinja to try and recover it, but no response as of yet. Sorry ~Mash

Well I'll weigh in with the fact that 3 of our fleets, 3 of their fleets and a fleet each of capitals are now squaring off against each other like 2 drunken morons at a bar fight.
Who will pull smash a bottle of cheap beer over the bar counter and ram it into their opponents face first?
I'll let you know after either SoCo pussies out, or we have a gigantic slap fight with world war I style attrition.

That was awesome.
Quote from our FC when wolfy was primary "Lets kill this guy he got me blacklisted from razor FC list"
I'm guessing it was Vee's fleet you bombed when you was fc? :3
Stand by for epic fraps in a couple of hours. Worth the maelstrom just for that quote

I watched the video, or at least the first two thirds of it. What the heck are all those spherical blobs all over the place, the ones that looks like they are occassionally streaked by lightening?
I couldn't tell what the heck was happening. When you are in battles, do you play that zoomed away from you ship, or is this some sort of replay where you can watch the battle after the fact from a different vantage point?

The spheres are warp interdiction bubbles, when you are inside one you can't warp, they also suck people in who come out of warp on the same grid. This means that when enemy bombers warp in, they land on a bubble rather than where they intended and often not at the 30km required for a bomb to fly to a target. Also it means enemy ships can't warp out.
I play that zoomed out for a reason - when the enemy FC calls you primary, you need to be able to see when you are targetted (the enemy brackets flash yellow) so you can call out for shield reps. If you call for reps too late, logistics can't get enough reps on you quick enough and you die very quickly - considering my ship is worth 800mil and I lose about 200k skillpoints if It dies, I dont want to take the risk!
In tengu and drake fleet you don't need to pilot your ship as you set orbit on the FC and he drives everyone in the fleet. This ensures that everyone is at the same range and both for target calling and for the logistics getting repairs on you as that is also limited by range. Also it'll be made more confusing for you because I turned friendly brackets of.

The streaks of lightning are capital ships and supercapital ships jumping in, mainly dreadnoughts and titans.

ROUND 2.
We are about to have another HUGE battle, if we win this we flip their main station that is stocked FULL to the gills with ships and modules - locking billions of assets that they cant get out.
Enemy have got together 2 tengu fleets, Maelstrom fleet and bomber fleet,
We have 1 tengu fleet 1 drakefleet 1 maelstrom fleet. Probably capfleet will drop too but its being kept secret.
Oh god this is going to be grim.
-EDIT yep they stood down and we took sov and the station. quote from makalu:
"It's only nulli who cares" Nice coalition FC there...

Meh, I was really hoping to see a $30BN Orcas being roasted as they carried SoCo's assets back into empire. [PS:] I am a bit bored of Caldari space, been down in Derelik for the past week but I think I want to get my Gallente standing a bit higher. Anywhere good you can recommend? Possibly want to do a bit of radar sites there to get loot for inventing Exhumers. Just realised that the decryptor things are worthless.
