I don't even know what the OP is about. Tiny_Puppy_Smasher wrote: Since this thread is otherwise completely worthless, let's talk about the Microsoft Surface. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-574564 ... -be-wrong/ I think it's pretty great and I want one. I'm rather interested in it too. Mainly because it looks like it'll give iPad a run for its money. If I do buy one, it'll have the actual keyboard. Why? Because **** capacitive touch and it's ZERO haptic feedback. Not yet sold on the stylus, but if it gives me the option of using the stylys and getting my grubby paw prints all over the screen then I'll be very happy. More options for the user is a great thing!

I don't trust it. I think my mouse-mat is thicker than that thing. I'm not even joking.

Yeah, I'm a little worried about bending one in half by sneezing on it.

I have an Ipad myself, i find it extremely useful, but thats mainly becuase im one of the few people without a laptop/smartphone, so it occupies that niche of instant internet/media device.
On the topic of stylus, I have one and use it whenever i want to do some work, for instance i can download a Physics paper complete it without the hassle of printing everything off.
Surface looks pretty good, be interesting to see some more details on it.

Yeah, because Steve Jobs was a master of innovation and copied nothing from no one. Everything he ever- FUCK DEM BITCHES! Pretty sure he ripped off plenty to help make apple as successful as it is.

Steve Jobs never invented ****.
The ONLY thing he did was tell his design team to come up with something that would make money. He was a BUSINESSman, not an innovator.

I know dude. Is why I put "Pretty sure he ripped off plenty" into my message. I've no doubt that much of what he did was recycle old shit to make money. Also I was hoping my sarcasm was obvious enough with the first sentence, guess I thought wrong?

The argument could be made that the style, function, reliability and simplicity in one package making it accessible to everyone, is where the innovation is. Because up until that point everything was ugly, cumbersome, incompatible, unreliable and complex.
