Look, I know this is the wrong forum to post this, but no one resoponded to me on the map forum, as im asuming no one reads it. So move it if you want, but at least it linked to the most traficked area.

Ok, so I got the SupCom map editor, and put it into the SupCom bin. At first it never started up, so I ran it in Administrator, and in Combatability mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3. So, it then booted up, but, when I tryed to open a new map, or a map from a game (Original or FA) then it crashed. I ran a troubleshoot, and it said to use Xp Service Pack 2, which I then did, but that did not help the problem. I was wondering if anybody else had that same problem, and how to solve it. (I have the steam version, if that makes a differense)

Moved to map creation and support. I suggest you don't do this too often.

I had a similar problem where the Map Editor would work until you asked it to create a new map (Running Win 7 x64). Turns out I was using v2 (may have been v1) of the editor. Download the latest version http://gpgnet-vault.bathnet.org/tools/S ... tor.v4.zip and extract it to the bin folder of Supreme Commander.

Also, make sure you installed it to the vanilla Supreme Commander folder, not the Forged Aliance one.
