I rarely use the stock ACUs anyways :P Black Ops ACUs is one of the best mods ever.

Domino just a quick request,

can you add to 4d what Burnie made to his T4 Experimentals and Lt. Hawkeye made to their T4 Experimentals so that when AI built them, they don't sit around and start auto attacking ?

it is some random strange behavior, sometimes the AI will make the experimentals and then not do anything with them.

ofcourse, BUT the faf version has to be very different, at first glance it looks easy however there are alot of details that need to be worked out.. i have a general idea, but the work involved is large, its not just about pathing, the current DMS works on the assumption of hooking and merging data into different tables from different file paths at the same location (mod paths), the way it works in faf is not like that so in the current form of DMS this will not work... a new method has to be used.. metatables is the answer however, we could end up with losing functionality of some of the cooler things DMS does in this process, so i have to be very carefull.

suffice to say the work load is huge for the time being were just going to make DMS and 4dc compatable on faf with each other, ill also tell brandon how to make his mod work with what we change, this work load is miniscule in comparison to making it compatable with all mods that use it.. but still a big job to change all that code and still have it function correctly.

im getitng pm all the time asking for this, however you all have to understand, DMS was here before faf so the coding is default coding style (hook and merge from mod paths) and not easy to change like that, its very complex.

it will take time..

as usual report any bugs or balance change requests :)

ill also add that, we didnt have enough time to complete all the things we wanted in this version, time goes by so fast, so what were going to do is have 2 downloads,

an official released version and the beta version, this way were all upto date
and can see the progress of the mods, this includes DMS,

WOF will be re-released bigger better and uncut ;D were actually working on it as we speak.. :) it will be out when its complete and were happy and satisfied with the end result. :) expect something specail! :)

The right download is the 4DC_V0.82 in the first post, size 47 MB?

And for the DMS also in the first post of its thread and is it named Dominos_Mod_Support_V8, size 855 KB?

you wanna look into this:

effects/emiters/ UAL0216_Emit/w_i_pla05_p_02_trail_emit

the DistortionMaptexture line says "4DC" instead of "4DC v.081" in its path. :wink:

Will hopefully get to do some coding later I'll get all these little bugs fixed there is nothing major being reported thankfully :-) ill have them all fixed and some minor balance changes out by or at weekend :-)
