phong1892 are you using the Steam version of SC/FA? Do you have Sorian 2.1.12? Any other mods running?

Ehh...I'm using GPG version and Sorian AI. Let me guess, Sorian AI cause this error, right?

EDIT: No, it's not. I desabled all other mod and enabled 4DC and DMS only but I still got that error

Ya, i cant see DMS and 4dc being used alone causing this error, its undetermined where the error originates, but its most definately a UI error, are you 100% with no other mods loaded (not incl sorian ai, which can be loaded) check your gamedata folder for none default scd mods..

Hello everyone, longtime lurker here and I made an account to express my gratitude to all you modders making this game so much fun over the years. Kudos to all of you!

With that out of the way I'd like to say that although I love this mod I am getting a strange issue. Running both Domino's mod v0.8 and the 4DC mod v0.81 along with the mods I already have which are as follows,

BlackOps Adv Command Units v3.2
BlackOps Global Icon Support v5.0
BlackOps Unleashed v5.2
BlackOps Unleashed Balance Changes v5.2
Paratroopers WIP v07

I get desync errors with my friend in Iraq that I play with. (He has all the same versions) If I uncheck both Domino's Mod and 4DC we don't get these errors.

I apologize profusely if I am forgetting to include any information that is customary for assistance. Please let me know if I should include anything to better assist with this.

For reference we are both using the steam version of FA, and have both verified our caches, and still no luck.

As a quick sidenote, anyone know if there is a FA version of the Auto TML mod that used to be on these forums. I failed my google-fu check trying to find it..

The The problem is with DMS. Dave's hammering out the problem as we speak.

Ya, i have a small desync problem with DMS, which i am furiously trying to find and correct, it wont be long before its fixed, if it isnt already fixed.. in the current betas in the DMS thread..

sorry to keep posting the betas in the DMS thread.. i figure im better off putting them there than in this thread, seeing as the probem is with DMS :)

Quick bug,
4DC works fine in a skirmish, but it doesn't work in the campaign with the mod enabler. I've narrowed it down to 4DC and your mod support works fine without it. I also have the effects file above. I got the latest beta's from the DMS topic

I have version 3603 (non-steam version), it is installed correctly in \mods\4DC_V0.81\mod_info.lua and from what I can work out, the log shows nothing wrong

ACU is not spawning, map is completely shown and does not zoom in., no intro movie starts to give you your objectives

we found a problem with duncanes AI thingy, if your using that there is a conflict which is tey to be resolved, we removed duncanes ai there is no problems for us.

No, removing Ducan's AI patch did not fix this.
From previous experience a main culprit of this is the ACU's. Ill just check the campaign enabler because I just remembered that I moded it to use B:OPS ACUs, and I cant remember if I reverted it or not. However it didn't work with B:OPS ACU's enabled either...

EDIT: wrong mod, it was the Seraphim campaign mod that I edited (it allows you to use the seraphim in the campaign so I had to change the ACU it spawned to the B:OPS ACU - but I had disabled that so that is not the cause). Its strange because it works fine in skirmish.

Hi,

No idea pal, works for me, we only found the incompatailty with duncanes AI the other day, it was mentioned there was an error, resin actually found that it was duncanes,
we havent looked at a fix yet or even looked at the reason why, we just removed duncanes and all was well, i tested lastnight when you mentioned it, it works fine, no errors at all.. so maybe its something you have possibly done?

Hi,

4dc actually fixed a few things regard to the campaign mod enabler,
resin fixed the last mission so it can now be run and completed..

if you have anything regarding duncanes AI mods, remove them and try again pal.

Testing other missions, it seems to only be mission4 - where you rescue Princess Burke
as any fraction. I can play the other mission fine. I don't know if it is only that mission, but its the only one displaying this problem.
I also know about "John's mod" that you incorporated for spawning Brakman's megalith, I've got it for when I don't use 4DC.

Question about the Drone Carrier T3 Cybran unit, it has a missile build option, but when a carrier looses its drones I thought those "missiles" were extra drones, but I had one drone carrier loose all its drones and even with 8/8 "missiles" it never rebuilt its drones.

Are those drone carriers supposed to rebuild its drones?

Hi,

Shadow, no we dont mess with tarmacs, its something else causeing that error,
however, we will look into what is acausing that error, if we can reproduce it with just 4dc, we will apply a fix, if we cant then its a conflict or change of another mod.

DarcClan, we going to re-write the drone carrier code and do something cool with its drones, so if it has errors now, which i dont know, they will be fixed..

Theres a weird thing with drone carriers... Mine rebuild the drones. But if I am testing something, and happen to have it at +10 speed... At a certain interval, the drones all die at once, and rebuild themselves.
