Da es eine verletzung der pflichten von Thq (Gpgnet) ist.

Scheiße ich hatte eine 65 Stunden wochen und ich habe gehofft das es nach so langem weniegsten eine gute narchicht.

Je Veux Vanilla!!

ALL u8R clan memberst Was a Grate time hope we will play a last game!!!

I looked on the supcom DVD Box, there isn't one word about that you can play this game via inet at all. If you want you can try legal steps. GPG did all what they could.

And it's not allowed to work 65 hours a week. 50 hours is the maximum. So it's your problem if you work so long.

And this is an english forum. Please don't write in other languages.

Wrong in teh menu you have "mutiplayer" lan/ip just nothing like fa's mactch making on steam which is really disapointing :(

You should read people's posts more thoroughly. He was merely pointing out, that the SupCom DVD box does not mention online multiplayer. However, on the german/european box it at least mentions internet connectivity and speed for minimum and recommended system specifications.

Then don't say "wrong" when you don't even reply to the points of a specific post.

You said "wrong" and then rambled on about the in-game menu and its lack of Steam integration. He was not talking about that.

I know i was just pointing it out supcom and supcom fa matchmaking are almost identical so the question is why did steam not allow gpg to steam intergrate it. which is a shame :(

I don't think Steam 'didn't allow them'. Probably THQ payed GPG only for the Steam integration of FA.

Topics should not be locked because of some errant discussion within them. This only hurts the actual topic itself and the original poster, not the ones doing the off topic discussion. Post should be deleted or extracted from the thread instead.

Indeed I did. I went to Activate a product on Steam, with my CD Inserted, and when I typed in the CD Key, It said it was in the wrong format.

i m near 6 month ago buy "SC: Gold edition" which include both: vanilla an FA. I m buy it only for looking on SC:FA, becouse SC original i m have many year ago, and me like it.
Now i m look at dvd-box "God Edition" and found 2 key codes in format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. One code on polyethylene bag of FA disk,
second code on box. I m enter in to Steam only second code and steam began install both!! SC:vanilla and SC:FA on my comp and in download process now.
About my 2 prior SC-vanilla disk: One - "present" from US friend, Second - Localized.
Possible they dont activate on steam, but its not problem for me - to decide - to drink 6 Coca-Cola glass or to buy SC:Gold Edition ($10)....
P.S.:hmm, but how all work on steam, is it acceptible or not, i can report later...
P.S.: about FAF... i m more vanilla player, and dont find any message about support of "not FA"

You don't 'need' Steam to play Vanilla SupCom. You can play it either with the Steam version or retail version, or any version you like. Either way, you won't have GPGnet anymore. Your only option for Vanilla SupCom is Gameranger (or similar), I guess.

Well either someone on the forums here messed up, or steam is messed up. Just contacted their Support team, and they said that the Retail Version of Forged Alliance isnt supported by steam...

So as far as I know, The CD Version of FA will not work with Steam.

The retail version itself is not supported by steam, no. However, you can enter the retail CD key into steam, and redeem it for a Gold edition (vanilla and FA) on steam. Of course, this will be patch 3606, and not the retail version which would be 3599? i think? anyways. different versions. Steam will (or should) accept the retail CD key.
