Chapter 9 – It’s on fire! It’s on fire! – noonDeadMG attempts to summon a sword and a shield (6). He’s getting both, though he’ll be hard pressed to use both properly due to one of his hands. (I’m sure he’ll sort it out one way or another).
Falcrack goes to sea again! He puts his net in the water and tries to catch something (5). He’s caught three big fish (search them, these are the kind of fish that eat rings).
Falcrack is lv 2 in fishing. He now has a +1 on fishing rolls when he uses the net.
*Geoff attacks Toot (5). Roll to dodge (4-1). Toot partially dodges the attack. Roll for damage! (2+1). The blow isn’t really powerful, but strong enough to deal some damage. Toot’s arm, that’s already damaged (Read the toot bit), suffers more (the total is a -4 on two handed attacks).
Hawkeye shoots an arrow at the nearest bison and lets Simba the lion attack him as well (1,3). Hawkeye fails to fire the arrow and hurts himself on the arrow’s sharp tip (-1 on the first next action). Simba jumps on the bison. RTD! (1). The bison doesn’t know what the hell is going on with that small animal attacking him and ignores it. Roll for damage (4). Simba breaks a leg (-3 on any action for the bison next turn). Hawkeye then compliments Simba (giving another point in trust), but Simba couldn’t help noticing he was doing all the work. Simba now fully trusts you!
Hazza holds his bow steady, aimed at the chest of the Bank man, he whistles Toby inside and order him to fetch whatever loot he can carry from the bank vault (2). He moves so his back is to the wall, bow still aimed clearly at the bank man.
"Please!" Says the bank man, "Don't hurt me!"
"Like you hurt Toby's feelings you mean?!" Hazza screams back, a little more shrilly than intended, as he wonders why everyone looks quite so terrified.
Toby doesn’t listen to Hazza when he gives the fetch command though (The 2 roll). Instead he just barks and rolls over. The two hostages burst out laughing and Hazza turns red in anger and embarrassment! Toby realises he did something wrong and two idiots are laughing at him, so he attacks the man and attempts to bite his head off (3). Roll to dodge (2). The bank man fails and Toby bites directly in his throat. Roll for damage! (5). The man’s artery is snapped and he falls to the ground. The woman, who volunteered for being taken hostage, screams in panic and wants to drop to the ground to see if she can help.
“DON’T MOVE!” Yells Hazza (4). The woman is frozen in her place.
Isik slams the vault’s door shut. The vault’s door is now shut. He also invents a leash (5). He now has a very long leash, with the ability to hold two animals in control (Say a labra doodle and a young lion).
The leash can be attacked to a longbow so you can shoot small animals (labra doodle is too big, find a ballista instead). Don’t be cruel to animals Isik. Otherwise the animals might be cruel to you. When you walk through the dragon’s forest.
K-lord freezes Steve and William to death. He expends his freezing ability completely but the other two are turned into a block of ice and two pirates immediately shove that from the ship into the water.
Gary angrily looks at K-lord and goes into a deadly rage (+3 on all rolls in favour of him, -3 on all rolls against him). He attacks two pirates (3+3,3+3). Roll to dodge (3-3, 5-3). Roll for damage (3+3, 6+3). One pirate is just killed in an ordinary fashion with Gary’s flux spell, the other one is torn apart. The five hundred pieces of pirate (all equal in size) turn the whole ship extremely bloody and slippery (-1 on all dodge rolls for everyone, starting chapter 10, if the ships still intact then though). Gary is a lv 2 dark mage now
The pirates however, cheer at K-lord and welcome him in the group.
Mazrix tries another twin strike on the bison near him (4, 4). Two bison have to roll to dodge (6-1, 3-1). One bison successfully dodges, the other one doesn’t. Roll for damage (4). The arrow pierces the eye of the bison and a wild stream of blood, along with it falling over, shows the bison is clearly dead.
+5 exp and +5 gold
Moose tries to summon a sword of light (1). He does summon a light, but it’s a blinding light and now he’s blinded (-1 on Roll to dodge in turn 10,11)
OrangeKnight runs towards the village grand hall, hoping to hide from the dangers that approach from the rift (4). While walking towards there he finds one villager with very good and fancy shoes (+1 on RTD)
Regabond goes outside to kill the first bison in sight with his newly stolen dagger (5). Roll to dodge! 2, roll for damage! 6. With immense fury, Regabond hacks and slices in on the bison, especially it’s neck. Regabond kills it (+5 gold and +5 exp). Regabond is now level 2 in the thief class and gets a +1 whenever he has to roll to dodge.
Spuddyt attempts to grow a new leg (something that’s very hard to do no matter what a leaflet says). He rolls a 3! He now has 10% of a leg (you grow what you roll -2, then *100%: (3-2)*100%=10%)
Toot wants to chop the woman in half (1). He instead chops in one of his arms (-2 on two handed).
Wolfinator searches the chest for anything useful. He’s got a secret card and a map of the dungeon. (Red: enemy. C: Chest)
Bison attack! The one near Mazrix attacks the easiest target ant that’s the woman who just jumped out of the window (2). No result. The woman gives the bison a dirty look and it backs off.
The one attacked by Simba attacks Simba’s owner (6-3). Roll to Dodge (5). With a stunning speed, Hawkeye dodges the Bison and Simba’s respect in Hawkeye is restored (2/4).
The last one attacks the bank some more.
Pirate attack! (2x2,2x3,2x4,3x5). Two drop their axe again and the captain (Aye, he’s there too) is very disappointed in them. Two others are given the order to kill them so they don’t hold the group up. They do (3, 3). Roll to dodge (1,5). One fails to dodge, the other one bends to grab his axe just in time. Roll for damage (6). Another pirate is beheaded!
Two attack Gary (4, 4-2). Roll to dodge (5+3). We don’t have to think of the result of that one. With immense speed, he dodges the axe and leaves the pirate startled. The other one was heavily wounded and can’t even throw his axe around)
The three who remain turn their attention to the sailors and they all kill one. Good for the sailors, otherwise they would’ve died a terrible death in flames.
Dragon attack! The dragon attempts to set fire to the ship (4). The ship is ablaze now (one big fire of 10HP, grows one HP ever chapter). Three pirates have to dodge the fiery breath (4, 6, 3). One dodges easily, the other two are on fire now! (-1 on every roll apart from setting something on fire which is +1).
