Chapter 5 – Toby, Bison, Pirate, Doom – 12 amDeadMG rols a 5 on the other book he’s got. He’s learned the teleportation spell, though he’s nowhere nearly experienced enough to teleport himself (let alone over far distances). Let’s keep it at objects at first, like stones, teleporting them over someone’s head!
+5 exp on SpaceTimeMage class. He now is level 2. If an enemy attacks you, you’ll suffer -1 on damage rolls in the magic sector (+1 resistance, you do NOT have the +1 defence against attacks from swords or spears or such...)
Falcrack goes to the side of the docks and then tries to fish again (4). He’s getting 3 small fish from it! +5 exp as fisherman.
Hawkeye searches the thief (5). He now has matches but also a set of lockpicks (5) and 5 gold pieces (obviously stolen from someone else)! Sotty, but you won’t get your arrow back. You get +5 exp in your thief type from looting.
Hazza attempts to teach Toby the “attack” command (3). Toby immediately jumps on a unsuspecting rabbit (Do those exist) and kills it! Toby can indeed attack (+1 when you attack small animals, if you try that a couple of times, bigger animals will also suffer from Toby’s bonus, as well as humans and whatever else might appear). +5 on the archer class because Hazza thinks that teaching Toby is equivalent with shooting arrows (which of course is not the case but what is an archer near a forest without a proper dog?)
Isik attempts to make a lockpick-knife again (3). This time he does get it but it’s a bit weak. The lockpick-knife can break if you fail repeatedly. The bank employees help you with your splinters so now you won’t have anything bad going on from those anymore. Though you also stop sobbing and the bank people go back to their desks, no longer interested in you, so they don’t pay attention to whatever you’re doing at the moment...
K-lord wants to join a ship that needs guards (4) and he finds one! He’s taken on the ship and the ship disembarks immediately. Then, out of nowhere (apart from a thick fog that was close to the docks), a pirate ship appears. The pirates will attempt to jump on K-lords ship. Stop them K-lord, stop them with that gigantic shield!
Mazrix heals his leg (6), incredible! You haven’t only healed your leg but you also get +5 exp from it. He then enters the tavern where he can just hear OrangeKnight muttering something stupid.
Moose joins the guild and is only one step away from being a real apprentice. He just needs to purge the darkness from a giant painting, using a spell called *cleaning* (yes you have just been demoted to janitor) (6). The painting is not only cleaned perfectly, but also set on fire! One of the priests throws a bucket of water on the painting and the fire is down, but inside the painting it still goes on.
^^Moose just joined the Aeon Templars and now he is a janitor (lowest rank).
+5 exp on the cleaning spell.
OrangeKnight asks some of the Tavern patrons about Potential Evils that need vanquishing (2).
“rar fajhkjhk wuiiwe ewpuo ouif joi weorusasfiuwe?” You are a bit inaudible and the tavern patrons (what the hell are those anyway?) have no idea what to say, so they just try something:
“whkewuias awiuesf p skhfwioq m, cnvawasoi fgm, as dowie aslgfoi!”
They have no idea what kind of dark evil these words will conjure, but conjure dark evil they will!
In other words, OrangeKnight will be responsible for a lot of evil to fight. Good going OrangeKnight!
Regabond gets into the tavern and buys something random from 1 gold (3). You get a beer!
Spuddyt goes CORPSESURFING (2). He throws the corpse to the north east with superhuman strength, and then attempts to jump even faster and bounce of the corpse to go even higher. Too bad he doesn’t have superhuman strength yet, but he does throw and jump and bounce, resulting in the corpse losing the bits and pieces that used to be half his head.
Spuddyt then successfully lands.
Toot wants to hit the woman who caused him so much pain over the last 6 hours with his head, in her head (5). She’s instantly unconscious and drops on the floor. It’ll be like 12 hours before she wakes up so you’ll have plenty of time to do whatever you like. +5 on pimp experience.
Wolfinator attempts to find something in the darkness (6). He finds too many things in the darkness and now he lost his sense of direction completely (When you actually find an exit from the vault, you’ll have no idea where you are!). You find several gemstones, which can be used for any type of magic (though you will have no idea what will happen when you do, neither will I). They can also be used to improve any weapon. Wolfinator also sees a strange black qube in the distance and goes to it.
Stampede:
The bison attack! They are rampaging through the poor village and crushing poor people! The rich get out of the way safely though. Villagers run around in panic and scream for help. Anyone who can kill a bison will get 5 gold (or something) said the mayor.
Pirates: The people in the docks are too busy to care about any bison. Pirates have appeared and are already attacking the first ship! The village doesn’t have an army so the only thing the people at the docks can do is go to the tavern, get drunk and put the rest of the beer on the docks, hoping that the pirates will go away if they take that as a gift.
But first, those pirates are taking over another ship.
Everyone is too busy to notice something far darker opening in the sky.
