Single player works, sometimes if you want to test out stuff you can host a private multiplayer game, with no opponents, and just mess around with your deck or different ways to spend your initial points, or to practise unit movement.

Mike play the first couple missions of the campaign so you get some stars to unlock units for your deck. then start making a deck and play online to get more stars and unlock more units. repeat i am seriously in love with this game. not since 2007 have i been this excited by RTS.

Yeah, still trying to beat the first mission D: (Tried Twice so far)
I got right up to the last objective, but then ran out of tanks -> only had supply trucks left.
I kinda miss Fog of War, made it clear exactly how far I could see without potentially sprinting recon tanks into tank shells/RPGs.
I know I know, "MOAR PRACTICE" derp.

Its pretty important to conserve your forces in the campaign, as there are only a limited number of any given unit you can call upon, and if they all die, you can't order up that unit anymore. Plus, that restriction will carry over into the next mission in the campaign. So if you ordered up your max limit of Leopard 1A1s in a mission, and lost them all, next mission you won't be able to order any more Leopard 1A1s.
On the other hand, if your units gain veterncy, and survive a campaign mission, you can order up those veteren units in subsequent missions without any extra cost beyond the normal cost of the unit. So if after the first mission all your tanks have survived (its quite possible for beat the first mission with no losses), then you'll have a bunch of veteran tanks next mission to call upon.

T62M's are great because they have a good main gun and ATGMs Konkurs ATGM squads rape tanks if you give them decent veterancy - same with faggot squads
VPZU special forces are so pro, they are ninjas.
MI-28 Gunship for standoff ATGM + rockets
2x BUK and 2x Tunguska AA will shred anything and not be vulnerable to infantry assault.
DANA SPG's are proper accurate and cheap.
Also unarmed recon chopper and recon jeeps for cheap eyes.
Pro.

As I live on the west coast US, and since most of off-topic seems to be Euro based, getting a time to play during the week would be difficult (unless you don't mind playing at 4 AM on a weekday).
Weekends are a different matter, I could play on Saturday morning which would be European afternoon/evening. I'll be ready to spank some Russian tanks at 0900 hours (GMT -7) this Saturday, which would be 4 PM GMT time.
