Okay, this is really weaird, but, basically my ESC key stops working after a variable amount of time that my comp is turned on.
Bascially, when I turn my Comp on in the morning it works just fine, but then it eventually stops working, and I haven't noticed any specific reason as to why or when it does stop working.
It's not my keyboard(I've tried the esc key with a few different ones) and my graphic drivers are up to date ;p
Halp?
Mike

Sounds like a RAM issue. Moar RAM should fix this right up.

If it's a RAM issue, adding more won't help, he'd need to throw his existing RAM and get new.

Download a linux cd/dvd, and run it off the disc for a while. This is to test if the problem lies in your OS.

My best guess is that an application or background service is triggering the problem. Tracking down which one, if my assumption is correct, is going to be a bit of a headache.
Photoshop is a known culprit for this, some background google services as well. Try disabling everything that starts up with the pc and see if stops. If so its a matter of isolating which app/service is bugged.

Nuke it from orbitReformat HD and reinstall OS. It's the only way to be sure...

We have found that photoshop and most Autodesk products(3DSMAX, Maya, etc) are the biggest causes of "eating" the esc key, not having the most up to date ATI drivers has also caused this in our environment as well.
