The game will not start when I click on the icon or from the steam client.
It shows the "Preparing to launch Supreme Commander..." message and then nothing happens. The SupremeCommander.exe pops up in the task manager for a second or two and then goes away. No error message.

When I try to start the game from the bin folder it gives me this error message:
"The applications was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."

All of the above methods work for Forged Alliance though.

I have the DxDiag in you need it.

Well, I fixed it.

I set the supremecommander.exe to run in windows XP (sp3) compatibility mode.
