Well I doubt wants to/is capable of employing more Admins, a couple good global mods(with proper moderator permissions) would be able to at least move the spam threads to the special Admin Forum where they can take care of it and be out of sight for regular users.

In the Netherlands we have a "don't call me"-registry. I think some companies have already been fined because they called people with their products even though they're in that registry. I don't know if my parents are in that registry but I haven't picked up the phone for such crap since a long time.

One bot is already spamming OT again...

Considering that, would it be a good idea to put a "this has already been reported" image next to the topic link"? Just like the "view first unread post" image. Then it's easier to ignore.

Same in the UK, if you get someone like that, and you're on the list you only have to say "By calling me, you are breaking the law" and they'll hang up
But how's that going to help with the forums?
