former lurker here.. Very interested in this, I'm always looking for the little oddities like this.. Knowing what I've seen in 4D, and replies here, I'm expecting many moments of epic. Now the question: download and test now, or ask permission?..(supposed to be grounded right how)

Just finished a match with this on: Very fun! I've noticed (thanks to friendly fire) that the 'trails' are race-specific, interesting little detail. This mod makes accidential friendly arty hits a bit more bearable, and fatboys...  Nothing amiss with the mod in what i saw, just my normal ancient CPU troubles.

Seems to be incompatible with the Ladder Mod and or patch 3603.

Hi,
have played 2 games with this and FA patched to 3603 .... have not noticed any problems ... (or with the other ~40 mods i have running ...)
So - i am interestet too in an possible problem with 3603 ..........

Im not sure why this is not working for me. The icon is yellow in the mod manager.
Edit: Nevermind. Figured out the probloem.

now i dont know why but for some reason when i updated this mod the game freezes up whenever i have two nukes in the air i dont have the time right now to test every single strategic unit but it happened when i ordered a cybran strategic missle sub to launch the missles
these are the mods i was using along with WOF
blackops unleashed blackops unleashed balance changes blackops advanced command units total veterancy g global icon support seiya's transport abuse sorian ai
i know its a lot of mods but they worked flawlessly together before so im just wondering what is going on

Well, there is a small amount of congruency in the placement...... But still, cheers for the update resin, WOF is really great, if sometimes a bit mental-which is greater still.

Yes, a log file is the only thing that can help tracking down the problem. By the way; while a big effort went into making this mod work with other mods, there are no and there will be no guarantees that version 0.6 works with any combination of mods.

I have a really good idea of what is breaking. Transport abuse has a part where I fairly destructively remove some code from the transport code. If it is loading after WoF, I can see it breaking. Usually, it loads before for me, but I have had one case where my comp was freezing due to log spam caused by those two. I am fairly certain it is them since removing one or the other fixed it.

Yeah, I already did. I never really updated it when I ported it over to FA so it was using coding from the early Supcom days. I have ran into an interesting bug though that I cannot nail down if I am causing it or if WoF is. It spews whenever a unit is created. The only thing I can think of is that something expects your surface impact weapon to be the last one in the table. Trasport abuse adds air layer copies of all weapons on to the end of the table list to allow units to fire. I have confirmed that the surface impact weapon is not being copied, but I cannot see anything explicitly that would throw the following error. You may be on to something. I've found something in the WOF code that _may_ do that but only if your (or a) mod adds weapons to a unit without adding them to the blueprint. I think I can change the code so it works. Would you be able to test that?
