i agree, I would rather buy the game and have everything. But remember that gpg is making aoe online, so whats stopping Microsoft form giving them money, and right to make AOE IV? Perhaps, or maybe this is temporary!
I sure hope not, maybe GPG can be making Halo Wars II, and more!
(yeah im getting ahead of myself, oh well)

i was disapointed to hear this was on hold, and i'm afraid all these rpg elements (items levels, etc.) don't impact k&c too much.

Not true by standard - CNC4 with strategic zoom is even more fail than without. Why? Having strategic zoom on a "strategy game" where you control 7 tanks is rather silly

well, cnc4 isn't a game universe, just the single worst game within the C&C series and tiberium series, so that statement still stands :p
