Since when did GPG have anything to do with AoEO? I thought Robot Entertainment was developing this? But I have to say that I'm really looking forward to AoEO.

I know I'm jumping to conclusions here, but I'm very curious as to why Age of Empires Online is on a GPG forum and what connection GPG has to the Age franchise.

Don't worry, AoEO is supposed to be free-to-play with civ packs for civ-specific enhancements. So you can play all civs for free, just that you don't get everything. Well that was how it was supposed to work. I'm not sure now with GPG at the helm.

Will GPG keep most of the features that have already been announced?

Just to rain on your day, AoEO was expected to use GFWL. Now that the pro-Steam GPG is developing it, that might change, but that was the plan. I have no problems with GFWL and welcome it with open arms, but some might object.

missed the point? are you referring to punctuation, and trying to make a bad pun? Or are you wanting to tell what this point is, because im not sure what you mean.

(look I added a period, the point.... get it?)

That dear Sir is the understatement of the year... :D

Also: What The Fooze, AoE Online? Congrats GPG! Good work securing a nice deal like that!

So now the big question: Moho engine? Because I always felt the zoom in AoE was way too close.

Yeah are you redesigning the game into gpg goodness, or are you just improving it?

Jesus Christ.

I was merely commenting on the fact that you can't have nearly 5 people. It really isn't even worth explaining, but since you showed yourself up so spectacularly I think I owe it to you. Also stating 5 like it was some huge number was of minor amusement.

interesting.
http://www.ageofempiresonline.com/ doesnt show any sign of GPG yet, but it probably isnt updated by now.

But sounds like a fun game, especially since it seems to be free 2 play (as far as i understand)

it seems gpg is only making content. I hope not, because then my dreams of offline play, no monthly, or small required payments, and less childish graphics would be gone.......

well, thats not GPG's choice, its microsofts, so I can play this for free and buy KNK which will be just as fun

(crap im being negative again, Sorry)

Unlikely. GPG took over the project that was already using a different engine. The game is scheduled for release this year, so they wont overhaul it to use the moho engine. Besides, there's already some sort of zoom feature in AoE 3, so Microsoft wont divest resources just to make some sort of strategic zoom feature.

you have a point, however gpg has been working on it for a while, and we just MAY see it. Although it is unlikely, it is still very worth it to hope, ill be playing this game, and will get a premium something, because GPG made it!

its like im a blizzard fan :( buying things just because a company made it!
