This is probably more of a finishing polish type thing, but I think it'd be fun if units had idle animations. So if an army of infantry is standing around for a while, one might start scratching his nose and another one stretching. :D It might give the army a feel of being made of people and not robots.

God I sure hope they don't add this. There are more important priorities.

Obviously it should be done before things like final models are done and such, but I don't see a problem if they get allt eh important stuff done.

Could be fun to see, as long as it doesn't affect anything else that is more important as said, was always fun in BFME to see an orc army make circles and fight eachother.

Remember that even though they may have personal deadlines, they have no publishers pushing them, and so all the time they want to take, comparatively at least.

I loved it when mountain trolls would bash each other if you had 2 of them. There were various things that BfME had in this regard that would be great models to work on:

-victory cheers when heroes were near
-random looking at weapons, armor, etc
-when selected, a battalion would take a ready stance
-when in fear, they would cower, and sometimes say things like "someone do something"
-And of course, trolls would interact with each other.

An example from SC2 is the C-Rex; when it's still, it would move a little. I think this would be a great addition, as long as it's not a priority, of course.

EDIT oh oh oh, and buildings, too!!!

What they also should do is making the world living, like civilians running arround and doing stuff, animals, ect ect.

Judging by all the animations we see on buildings in supcom 2 and the mage model proposed in the Vlogs I would guess that we will see at least some idle unit animations. It would be best if they were optional so that a player with a fast computer could admire them while the game could still be accessible to a player with an older computer.

In every Gas Powered Game till date, I have found gampley not living up to its full potential. Take that as a compliment, because there arent a lot of games with as much potential as Gas Powered games. So yes, I fully endorse this statement. Better gameplay, in what ever way > anything else. Especially this.
