I know I am not the first to think of this, but wouldn't it be great to have supreme commander 2 on ps3 as well? To me, we would have the best of both worlds. How you ask? Simple.
THE PS3 USES KEYBOARD AND MOUSE, AS WELL AS A CONTROLLER!! I've actually seen pc users ask questions like:
"why cant we use console controlls on pc"?
My point is gpg, give it some thought. Don't worry about the ps3 being to difficult to program, or what ever the case may be.
Look at it as a challenge. I think it would be awsome if gpg did venture into the unknown wich is ps3 and bring kick *** rts games like supcom2 to it!

Keyboard and mouse would be pretty much ideal, but since the PS3 doesn't use DirectX for rendering (which the XBox does), any game that works on XBox would need to be re-engineered internally to use OpenGL (to keep Spooky happy; the PS3 doesn't use OpenGL, but a close relative to it).
GPG simply doesn't have the time or resources to work on something that big.
This is why only the biggest, triple-A, games ever come to both XBox and PS3 - ones that expect to sell a million copies in the first week. Those are the games that can justify spending another $100,000 in pay to make things work twice.

Well here's hope'n that the sequel come's out on all platforms. It would be nice. I am aware that you can use console like controllers for pc. I do believe rts games on the pc only support keyboard+mouse functions.

@layZboy; I am aware that you can use console controllers on pc, but not all games support them. I am also certain that almost all rts games only support keyboard+mouse functions.
That is why i say the ps3 would have the best of both worlds, seeing as how ps3 is a console, the developer's may keep the controller optional. Of course no one opted for controllers on pc, only because keyboard+mouse is traditional for almost all rts games.
