The First Problem:
When starting a Match it takes MUCH longer then before to actually start, and its loading screen jerky (Like it the video lags and stops a LOT, But the Audio is fine.).

Before it used to play smooth and go MUCH faster.

The Second Problem:
Once the game starts, none of the Buildings show up when I build them. When I click to build a building not even the Placement Square shows up UNTIL I have it set to build one already, Which the Placement Square shows, and when it builds it the building is invisible.

After a While ALL the building's of that type show up and the build placement show up correctly.

When building Units, they don't show up after there built (Except for the Commander and Engineers.) until a while has passed and they just show up.

The game also Freezes quite a bit while playing too.

This its is very annoying/frustrating and makes EVERYTHING take longer in the start of the game.

I tried Reinstalling the game and Defragmenting, but it didn't work.

Any idea's on how to fix this problem?

Did you, by any chance, play around with the cores setting in msconfig?

Just to be sure: how many cores do you see in the task manager in the performance tab?

While playing a game with the Revamp Mod (First time trying it) I decided to Check The Teack manager and see how it's running, and I found that it only uses the First core 100% and the other ones not so much.

Also, I would think the game would be Maxing out my Ram (Only 2 Gig's), But it doesn't even go over 1.24 GB.

Is that Normal? Because It seems liek if it used my computer to its fullest the game wouldn't lag so much.

Go to the main menu of the game, Alt-Tab to the desktop, then open up task manager. Right-click on supremecommander2.exe and then click Affiinity. Make sure all of the cores are checked. For some reason my comp set SupCom2 to use only 1 core out of my 4, and I didn't even do anything to the affinity. Also, you can set the priority of the process to High.

Is there anything running in the background that might interfere?

Wow, it was set to only use one of them. I notices a HUGE Speed Increase when I had it use all of them.

Also, I use Gamebooster which temp closes all Unneeded process until I turn it off.

Though would that cause the Missing Building problem (Is it called Texture?)?

Actually, That seemed to fix ALL of my Problems.

Though It still doesn't seem to Max out the Processor when the game does lag (In Huge Battles), and I would think that it would use more ram, but whatever, that Fixed all the problems.

Thanks a LOT!

SupCom2 doesn't use that much RAM in general. Also, the lack of CPU usage would be a problem with the simspeed regulator which is throttling the simspeed too early and not letting CPU usage go to 100%. There is nothing you can do about that.

He probably means overall CPU usage. The game, like most games, even multithreaded games, simply can't use every core 100%.

Oh ok, I see. That kinda sucks.

So, Selecting all Core's fixes all the Problems, but is there a Way to make it where I don't have to select all cores each time I start Sup Comm 2?

I use a program called Prio Priority Saver. That saves both priorities and affinities for processes. So install the program, run SupCom2, set all cores active, and Prio should save the setting.

It's odd that this happens for you in the first place. Usually you have to use an application like X-Cubed suggested to achieve the opposite.

Is Steam set to use only 1 core? It seems to me as if Steam gives all games launched from it the same core usage.

It was set for only 1 Core, But I remember changing it to 4 Cores before though.
