It should. SupCom2 needs Steam to work, so everyone, including those that use this mod, use Steam. If it works for them then it should work for you.

Hey, I unzipped the lua file and replaced it with the original one. But when i double click the SC2 icon, my computer think s for 3 seconds, then stops, and nothing happens. Then i tried putting the original on back in, and it worked. I'm using Vista. Please help me, what should I do to make the new lua file work? >.<

The last update for this was to work with Patch 1.11, I think SupCom 2 is long past that version. So the mod most likely does not work anymore.

Is there any way to make this mod work in multiplayer? my friends and I have been trying to play a cheat game together , and it just didn't work and say "<put name here> is trying to cheat!". However , in skirmish it wrote "<put name here> is cheating!" is there any explanation for this or a way to stop it?

So any luck yet on anyone crackin' the code and getting it working on Campaign mode? Also, when I put your console crack in, when I finish a round on skirmish and it takes me to the scores page. When I click on return to menu, it closes the game instead. Haha any ideas? And would you please make a working console and debug mode for version 1.20? Thank you.

Thanks, this does indeed work for me with v1.20.
That said, I've spent a considerable amount of time reading posts here and experimenting with 7zip, RAR, etc., and I still can't seem to get the recipe for making a a custom lua.scd that will actually boot. You seem to have this figured out, and that would seem to be critical to most any other mods besides new units. If you could share (in verbose mode for novices like me) how you packed/zipped this lua.scd file, that would be a big help.
I would feel well on my way if I could just unpack either lua.scd or uncompiled_lua.scd and repack a new (bootable) lua.scd from that data...
I also have a lot of experiments that I'd like to run relative to /mods (and /shadow and /hook), but I'm blocked until I can make a viable lua.scd file.
Thanks again, the console support will be a lot of fun and quite helpful I'm sure.

Make sure all file associations with scds are removed, so as to ensure a fresh start. Make sure you have win rar, the latest version etc. double click on the scd file, then on open file with another program. Browse -> C:\programfiles\Winrar\winrar.exe and click ok. Hopefully this very simple process works; ive just installed windows (again) and have done the said above. You can test this by overwritting one file with another from the uncompiled.scd. Good luck.

I have been waiting. Though it's not like it matters if that other one gets re-uploaded again or something, I downloaded it a while ago and it didn't work.
