I am happy to give you; Mesalopolis -A little different supcom2 experience.
This is only a BETA version, remember that, still I think it shows what I want of it.
The map is a modified "Powderhorn Mesa" with a "city" in the middle. Different structures gives different resources. They are very quick to capture, gives around 1/4 of the "original" values and have health of 45k. All mass spots are removed.
Due to the start position of the Armies this map can be played as FFA, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 1v2, 1v4, 1v6... etc.
This map also goes around best with restrictions like "slow research" and "no mass conversion", play around!
BUT ONE slots NEED TO BE AN AI:normal. put that AI in position "8". The AI needs to be different team than anyone else.
For the moment the AI sucks, play it against other players. Preferable friends, else I guess it could be quite chaotic... The lobby part of supcom2 is not the best, as you know.
And for last, Please, please give feedback
. I have lot of more to do with this map. A lot of things that are already in place is very easy to balance (for example start spots and resources). More buildings to come with different attributes, like Fusion plant that explode in a nuke... Repair bots stations, maybe "civilians engineer that runs around", meteors that falls down from the sky! (yes, checked it today, maybe possible).
For last, I have experienced some CTD. Please report!
Then I am satisfied with the map I will post on the other three or four main forums... No need to do it yet, i guess.
Put the file "mesalopolisbeta2.scd" in supreme commander 2 gamedata folder. Anyone who want to play the map needs this "installation".
The best part;
This map dont break any mod, can be played without the DLC or with the DLC. This map will not break ladder games or other MP or skirmish games. Actually there are no downside in having this 11 meg big map...
