I noticed I had an update recently, along with lots of different in-game things and new maps.
Does anyone know exactly what it fixes by chance?

>patch >360 AHAHAHA!!! I'm never buying anything from SE again. I might buy from GPG if they go with a different publisher. It's a shame, I really liked GPG's games, too

Well that was a ridiculously long wait for such an asinine answer.
Consider the aesthetic changes present in supcom 2. That was SE.
Consider the lack of support on the console, that was SE and Microsoft.
SE only approved the update because the DLC was bugged on the xbox 360. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if GPG did it on purpose, just so they could slip some balance and fixes along with the patch.
The game is certainly different after the patch, any player with two brain cells to rub together can see that.
Being a developer isn't easy, you have to take **** from the publisher and basically model your perfectly good game to what they want. Why? Who the **** knows. But anyone can figure out who is to blame for a huge chunk of unnecessary changes in supcom2.
I'd like GPG to stay independent too. But that means paying for the project out of your own pocket, not an easy thing either.
But yeah, in case you still haven't figured it out yet, there is a patch available for supcom2 on the 360.

Sorry, did you say that the patch including gameplay balances and fixes?
No, it didn't. This patch had nothing to do with gameplay, it was simply for enabling the DLC to be used.

Your are being an ignorant fool. Learn to read before trying to be a smartass. Let me quote what he JUST SAID "The game is certainly different after the patch, any player with two brain cells to rub together can see that." Obviously you dont have 2 brain cells to see this or that.

Pretty much.
Some things seem more powerful, some things seem less powerful.
But by far the biggest and most noticeable thing is the AI.

Fine, don't take my word for it, I'm certainly not taking yours. Spooky wrote: Some people on the SE forums say that the patch does include a few fixes, but no fix for the important bugs like the mass exploit or the anti-nuke bug. Our best source says that "some" say the patch includes "a few" fixes. This is not how patching works. If they were to fix anything gameplay-related, they would fix all of it, not some of it. The game has not been patched. They only enabled DLC.

- The Ai no longer spams transports. -It has started to build other major experimentals (proto b, air fortress, etc...) - It has a tendency to react to attacks, not just bend over and take it. -It builds multiple nuke launchers and launches them more often.
Its not the AI pc users have, thats not what I'm saying. But the AI is very different than it was before.

Could you explain to me why they would take their time and extremely limited resources to partially fix the AI but not fix the game breaking bugs like the nuke defense glitch, the ACU copy glitch, and the mass glitch? Or, better yet, why they wouldn't balance any units as they did in the PC version? If they were going to fix anything, it was going to be something important; not the AI.

Who knows?
Patches have to be extremely small because of Microsoft.
Maybe GPG wanted to start at the beginning of the pc patches? We simply don't know until someone gives us some patch notes.
But the evidence should be clear to any player. The game is different!
Have you even bothered to get online on the xbox and actually play the game in between all this bickering!?
Do you even have the xbox version of the game!?

There's a difference between being optimistic and stupid. You're being stupid.
Game developers do not provide incremental patches for Xbox 360 games like they do for PC games. It simply does not make sense to pay Microsoft every 3 weeks to update the Xbox version of your game to keep up with the computer version. If or when (or in our case, not at all) a developer updates a game, they bring every version up to the same update.
I do have it for the 360. I had the original SC for PC. The original was incredibly better than the second. The only thing that was improved in SC2 was the optimized pathfinding, which didn't matter in the 360 version anyway because the 360 version was launched broken and filled with bugs.
