Please GPG tell me that you included the new units and patches that you gave to the PC users not to mention the weeks of updates that you gave them as well.
I bought this game on release date, and have not seen 1 ounce of support.
I just want to know if the DLC includes hopefully more then just 8 maps.
If not are you planning on updating this game and resetting the leaderboards from the cheating that has been going on for the last few months?

No, just the maps. Square Enix are some seriously lazy bastards.

Someone on the SE forum said, that you can't actually use the new maps yet after downloading the DLC. Is that true?

A lot more posts came up with the same problem. And they now have removed the DLC from the XBox Live market, apparently.

I find it hilarious they made supcom 2 so console friendly that it took away from the PC experience, and now the console version has crashed and burned LOL.
Who plays RTS on a console anyway. Seriously.

This made me laugh extra hard because you actually quote something that isn't even in my sig But seriously now, if you like to play your console then thats fair enough. I like it for some stuff, just not RTS.

While I dont think consoles are meant for RTS, I do believe the console players have got a raw deal with supcom 2. I think this is mostly down to SE and Microsoft.

It really feels like console scom2 was a bit of a get rich quick scheme, a scam to make a fast buck.
If they knew that patching was going to be limited, they should have delayed the 360 version by half a year or so, to allow for the main issues to be fixed in the pc version first. that would have been the better option from the "customers first" point of view.

Strategy games on console are a niche product and the support is going to be minimal, if any. We saw this with the first SupCom and Tropico 3. We also saw that EA didn't bother porting it's latest RTS to console, either. I don't and won't game on PC, so I know what to expect in this genre. Thankfully, I enjoy many other types of games as well.
People are especially annoyed because the map packs were made and posted to the marketplace then pulled and Sqenix hasn't said boo-hoo-cat-kitty about the matter. This both gets peoples hopes up and dashes them at the same time. Still others purchased the maps while they were available and apparently aren't getting response from Sqenix either.
A little communication from Sqenix would go a long way...
