FuryoftheStars wrote: Seems to be an issue with the top of the forum on the Search Results page: Compared to: Using Firefox. Also, I seem to remember the old setup having a link towards the top on the search results page to go to the index. Would be nice to have this (or something similar) back rather than the little thing at the very bottom. Another thing I've noticed, in the old setup you could click on links and they'd open up in a new tab. I haven't changed any settings with Firefox and since the new forums came up now all of the hyperlinks (but not the resized pictures) causes the new page to open up in the current tab (thus leaving whatever I'm looking at). I liked it the other way. Is there an option somewhere for this? Last thing, and I guess this is just my own personal taste, when conducting a search, it defaults now to showing results as posts rather than threads. I know it's an easy click to solve before hitting search, but I did like it the other way. I think I might be in the minority there, though. Other wise, all looks good and GG on your work for fixing the issues. I'll look into these.

The board index page keeps showing new posts(bright circle), even tho I've read every topic in the specific sections..
Don't know if that's just on my end tho.. I've read all topics in the sections a few extra times yet again just to make sure, but they still stay lit up as a new post has been made..
With the old design, I just had to go through the sections once and leave, then come back and the bright circle would be gone, since I already looked through the sections and didn't find anything interesting, so it removed the "there's something new you haven't checked out yet" circle, but now it just stays bright..

Btw. the 'color' attribute of .quotecontent misses one number/letter at the end. That's why all the quotes are in white color currently, instead of blue. Code: .quotecontent, .attachcontent { margin: 0 5px 0px 5px; padding: 5px; border-color: #303030; border-width: 1px 1px 1px 1px; border-style: solid; font-weight: normal; font-size: 11px; line-height: 125%; font-family: Verdana, "Lucida Grande", "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; background-color: #000000; color: #8399C; /* <- should be #8399CF or something similar */ }

Is there a way to change the forum time? Right now, the forum is showing all times one hour behind my real time. Is there a way to change this?

That's funny, it's set to the correct time zone, but the time is 1 hour late! My computer is set to the same time zone and reports 5:56 PM but the forum reports 4:56 PM! Was this a bit of oversight, because I'm pretty sure my local timepieces are correct.

You have to manually turn on and off DST on the forums now. You should not have to do that as most forums auto correct. Just go to your profile -> Edit global settings to turn it off and on that should fix it.

Example.
/* HACKY MCHACKERSON WAS HERE, THIS CHANGES SUBTOPIC HEADERS TO WHITE */ Where can I find these? Also, the signature height that FunkyKong allows in Off-topic is 200 pixels. Perhaps that's a good rule to put in, aside from the 680 px width. gpgITninja gave you a link, but if you want to see the CSS files of websites without specifically asking for it, you can hit control-u (page source in the event it's something different for other browsers/OSs). This will bring up a pop-up window that gives links to any CSS files in use, provided that they're external, if they're internal or inline (sorry if those are the wrong names for those two, but I haven't used those CSS styles, so I don't exactly remember their names perfectly) they'll be displayed in the actual page source. Clicking on the CSS file(s) links will let you see all the settings used in the website.

That is a lot nicer, I really like that. Yea, I support this. On a different note, at first I was seeing those little green squares and I thought they were in your screenshots, and now I'm seeing them everywhere (the "see the real dimensions" button at the top left of large images). Is that a change you enacted with CSS? Or is that due to the new phpBB software? *Edit* So I don't keep making posts in a row without any others posting. It seems that receiving a PM no longer notifies you. I had to check my email in order to see you'd emailed me. The red "No Messages" link was still up there, and I didn't get a pop-up saying I had received a message, unlike the old forums. Once actually going into my mailbox (forum one), I did have a little yellow "New Message" notification at the top, so it seems to just be an issue on the main forums. I'm not sure if someone has already mentioned these issues (or issue and one change), but more people reporting on a bug isn't a bad thing.

The PM thing I am aware of and looking into, the little green squares is actually the javascript that is running that is resizing images on the fly (it's actually supposed to display a little magnifying glass in that square but it's not for some reason, looking into that as well)

It also makes little orange-brown squares for loading images, in the event you haven't seen that. I wonder if it's accidentally calling the wrong image, in this case, the font color buttons (they look pretty similar).

I like the new off topic banner image. If the mod community submitted an image to you for the banner for the mod forums, would you use it? Or is there already a mod image in-the-works?

I've considered that, let me run this by Servo and see what he thinks.There should be a post going up shortly with our requirements.

I was thinking Forum Administration should be like a desk or something, maybe a shot of the GPG office?
modding, naturally should include code (see Sorian's blog for reference) and some wireframe meshes too.

Wierd. I came back to the topic to float the idea of a Firefox Persona for SC2. Sort of like your banner contest actually (but I wasn't thinking "contest"). But I didn't want to do anything with copyrighted images. I thought it would be cool if GPG had some downloadable personas. http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/demo_createI personally would like to see 3 or 4 faction banners for SC2. Clean, simple, nice gradients, starting with these images: UEF LogoIlluminate LogoCybran Logoand was looking around for a similarly-styled Seraphim logo. The idea would work for Demigod, since the menu animations already look a bit like banner art anyway.

one small thing; I keep seeing the green image tab rendered in the wrong place. it's most likely Chrome (as it's riddled with rendering issues), but I thought I'd just give it a shout-out.
