The forum renders not as nice on my iPod and in Safari than it does in Chrome or Mozilla. The previous one was way better there.
Also, something in the Javascript that makes the layout causes the whole center DIV to be shifted right a good way (half the screen, it seems) before snapping back once loading continues, which makes browsing painful.

What's with the [bot] users that always seem to be online? Yesterday it was Yahoo [Bot] and now it's Google [Bot].

Looking into this, I have seen it as well. i dont care for the view unanswered threads button but the "view your threads" Was awesome and i used it all the time... where is it?
:EDIT; i think it was called "View your posts" btw This will return at some point in the near future.

the view your posts url from the user profile: search.php?search_id=egosearch works. But it doesn't float the topics with unread responses to the top of the search results. So, for example, if I wanted to view all the topics I've spammed, and get to the juicy ones that have had other responses, they're all (seemingly) sorted and lumped together with the ones that I've already seen. All that to say I'd like to see topics with new replies at the top of the sort. Separately, I don't know if you want this or not, but when posting a URL for a page within the gaspowered domain, the URL text/label gets truncated, as in: search.php?search_id=egosearchinstead of displaying the entire URL, as in: Code: http://forums.gaspowered.com/search.php?search_id=egosearch

What's with all the hyperlinks being a smaller font than everything else? Is there some particular reason for that change? I mean all of them, inside individual posts, the links for things like next page, board index, etc...

You mean like they have linked all the design settings back to one file on purpose to make it easier to quickly change and add new design options? How dare they! Great job on the update so far and thanks for the extensive bug hunt. Good luck with the CSS! somebody who worked a lot with forum styles and knows how frustrating it can be

I think that's due to an older cookie. I fixed that problem by deleting the cookie for this site.

I can highly recommend vBulletin in case you ever have to set up a new forum or are thinking about a major overhaul. It's not free but it works like a charm, has lost of additional features and a pretty nice template manager for styles. The amount of CSS fields you can use is huge! We made one style where every CSS field (like I said, there are A LOT) had its own color, very bright colors of course. Access to that style was limited to admins but it proved to be rather useful at times. You can check out zwzsg's Eye-Destroying Warcrime style on the TAUniverse forum for a diluted version.

Ah, you should have seen the original! We called ours the Nexus Appreciation Style after Nexus, the founder of the site. Unfortunately it was lost when we merged SupComUniverse with InsideSupCom. *sigh*

I don't seem to be getting email notifications, and it is annoying. I've checked, it's not an issue on my end.
EDIT: It also seems that the first attempt to subscribe to a topic fails, and then i have to do it again to get it to work.

This was a response to the Off-Topic thread about the forum's opinion of the new design. I figure you'll read this thread first. You never know what might help. gpgITninja wrote: Solar wrote: I find it somewhat annoying how all of the previous links (board index, next page, etc...) are seemingly in a smaller font... Grr... I swear, I cannot for the life of me figure out why the links are different. This is the ONLY css that is being applied to links inside the forum body: Code: a:link { color: #9999FF; text-decoration: none; }
a:active, a:visited { color: #CCCCFF; text-decoration: none; }
a:hover { color: #CCCCFF; text-decoration: underline; } So are there other hyperlinks that we don't see? Maybe one of them is being applied globally some how. Or you might have a similar issue to a CSS problem I once had. Basically, I was trying to design a basic website using CSS with my laptop, and all of my saved and updated versions of my CSS file weren't working. Turns out I had been saving to my CSS file in my documents, but the one I was uploading was on the desktop. Two different file locations of the same CSS file, and one contains information you want to upload, and the other contains older information. So in other words, you might inadvertently have an older CSS file up on the server that is being referenced which does contain a font size change, even though you want the forums to use a more updated CSS file of the same name.

I have to admit; the amount of TLC that ITninja is giving is really really appreciated.

THREE CHEERS FOR OUR NINJA! True. Also, the reply notifications seem to be fixed now, but I recieve the mails from something called "*******", instead of "forumadmin". Also, trying to sort threads backwards doesn't work: http://forums.gaspowered.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=44868&start=0&postorder=desc&start=0It just gives me the start of the thread, instead of the end of it.
