graphics are significantly more aggressive in Demigod than FA.
which you'll get more enjoyment out of; that's something we can't decide. do you prefer RTS over ARPG, or vice versa?

well.... i used to be a huge fan of RPG (i havent ever played ARPG) .... but i got more enjoyment and satisfaction from RTS.
a clasify in my mind the 2 as such:
RPG: Long lasting Entertainment/time passer
RTS: Mind Training and satisfaction!
sad, i know.
i know that extreme graphics makes the game more enjoy full, alas i am using a laptop at the moment, so i cant really take it to the limit (hell, i cant even take it to half) ....... think that in FA, when things strat getting heavy, i need to switch to Cartographic view (with all settings previously set to LOW) lol

Well, I have not gotten Demigod yet, not totally sure I will end up getting it, so I cannot comment either way on it, but I can tell you that FA is extremely good. You will play that for quite a long period of time most likely and will definitely get your bang for the buck.

agreed! although money isnt an issue, since i am happy to pay for something that deserves it.
I absolutely love FA... its all i ever looked for in an RTS i'm even content of the current balance (this doesnt mean i'm not anxious for a patch)
but as everything in life, one must evolve its habits.... thats why i was looking into DEMI.
it looks pretty awsome in the videos. One thing i dont understand is whether you just control the DemiGod or the units as well. If its the first, i think i wouldnt enjoy it much.

Since you post in the demigod forum, then it would be Demigod.
I would choose Demigod over FA because
1. Demigod is newer (Just came out this week)
2. Demigod multiplayer games are shorter. Good when you don't have as much time.
The 2 games are completely different. If you want a more complex game with lots of depth, pick FA. Demigod is a simple game where you just control 1 unit.

Then would you say DemiGod has a lower or higher learning curve than FA?
From what i understand, commanding a single unit would mean a much easier mastery of the game. is this a correct assumption?

Demigod probably has an easier learning curve. Demigod is about microing and focusing on your one hero to help your team win. FA is about macroing and multitasking your warmachines.
If you're short on time, get Demigod. If time isn't that big of a deal then either. If you like microing, or RPGs like Diablo, get Demigod. If you like macroing and being an overall commander making larger strategic decisions, get FA.
That's basically how it racks up.

That means you probably won't meet Supcom's minimum either Supcom alone is worth spending a grand or so on a new system that will decently handle the game.

FA = Hard to learn, harder to master.
Demigod = VERY easy to learn, hard to master.
