The identity of said Cybran will remain a mystery for now. Rest assured, however, that his presence was a cornerstone in Bagby's life!
...
And yes, this is a cruel, cruel taunt. It's my evil side

i'll go look for the exact section, but it's a lot of books to read.
I was assuming it was when he was still young and unscarred, and that all the wounds and the mask and the cybernetic limbs came later through his hellish struggles, however I'd forgotten about that part of his story, with him originally being a UEF citizen who was captured and converted by the Aeon, and then turned Cybran if I remember correctly? (No wonder he's so twisted lmao)
So yeah unless it was just after he was turned Cybran (that would explain the machine complex) and was still unscarred despite any previous toils, it can't be him if he's still quite young.
Will just haveto wait and see. Dots yer a bugger.

Quote: "Taking a bit of time to grab a bite and stretch her leg is not that big of a deal now is it?"
Should be "legs"
And heh wow that was quite an explosive and unexpected start to the book.
When I began reading the first bits I assumed most of the chapter was going to be everyone talking to each other in the base and so on like the last book, with maybe a small operation. So I was wondering where the hell the Sepharim were, and thinking that although the character development and so on was nice in the last book, the overeall situation was supposed to be everyone being on the run, constantly hunted by the Sephies and their allies.
Then BANG! in they came, fecking everything up as usual and roasting absolutely everything despite the small advancements in technology the Alliance had made. Yeah there was enough upgraded ground defenses there to actually take down a bomber, wheras the Earth ones got totally pwnd and couldn't do crap, so that shows improvement, but the Sepharim are still the badasses and kicked some *** with everyone else legging it as soon as they could. Brilliant change in pace there, especially as it was so unexpected due to how it started.
Also oo Bagby's on the run, with his Sweetheart too, (lol I wonder how appreciative she'll be after this ;O) I assume he'll survive but probably will haveto go through hell first, especially with a Sephy SCU after him, that predicted exactly where he'd escaped to, and I'm sure Bagby hasn't forgot the beating the last one gave him, despite him being master of SCU "hand to hand" combat.
Liked how Dostya called in the favours too, showing just how popular and important Bagby is, and fitting in with the Cybran's style as described in the information thread.
Although such things just amuse and don't bother me, I can see a few turning their noses up at the gay-humor part, but there wasn't really anything that was too bad or degrading there so itl be reyt I guess as long as people take it as light humor, it didn't go too far or seem too unprofessional.
Overall nice chapter. Bit of character and situation development (Loyalists getting closer with the Coalition, has the UEF/Cybran alliance been officially named that yet? I can't remember when it says in the timeline) a nice twist and some Sephy pwnage, reminding everyone of the overall situation in that they're still on the run and getting owned. And some badass reminders of Bagby's potential too, (he must have been in a randomly good mood earlier on in the chapter, possibly just cause he was looking forward to taunting Flinn. )
So aye, uber thanks for the chapter, hope ya keep it up with more in yer awesome style. This was a great start.

Epic.
You might want to capitalize "past" in the title. And add "A" at the beginning of the title, as well. I, know, I'm a perfectionist.
But otherwise, it was awesome. The Gay part escpecially.

Adapted the title although I added an "s" to past instead because *scrambled*.
