Before I reply, are you gonna be one of those people that get pissed off at people who critique your work?

The start was good, but nothing changed, the battle was failingly slow and uninteresting, the music and the pace totally didn't suit the combat.

If you were trying to keep the colors of the factions to what they usually are, why is Cybran blue and UEF red?

After all, this is your first movie. Everybody makes mistakes on the first time. Just play the game at regular speed, add more diverse units, and speed up the music.
Also, how come the harbingers didnt have there shields on?

This looks to be vanilla supcom, which would explain the harbingers lack of shields, and why he chose loyalists and titans instead of bricks and percies

yes, it is vanilla. The reason that the units are not diverse is because all the videos were sitting on my hard drive taking up 8 GB of space, and I just wanted to make it, and delete about half of them.

To be honest, the film was not fundamentally flawed, your intro was pretty epic. The trouble is you just didn't accomodate when it changed from OMGZ EPIX to OMGZ ACTION DEATH BLAM BLAM PEW PEW BOOM.

Thats a really stupid attitude you know.
You know what, the first I made for SupCom sucked, it sucked SO hard it was on par with TonyCouchman's stuff(Super E-Cookie to who ever remembers this guy WITHOUT using the Search[Not that any of you know how to search;p])
And yet, here I am over a year and a half later, releasing stuff like the Basilisk.
Your not supposed to get it right the first time.
Now suck it up princess and move on and try again, I say wait on your series, instead make a bunch of smaller movies to practice and right your wrongs. If it's one thing I've learned, its that when your trying something new, don't test it in the same place you want to use it.
Anyways, enough of that, time to point out some of the things to improve on.
1] Watch where you leave your cursor. - In some of the shots you could actually see the cursor itself, while in others you couldn't see teh curdor but could see where it was by the units walking behind it getting highlighted.
2] Pacing - the Pacing at the intro was alright, it was an intro after all, but the problem is that the pacing didn't change once the fighting started, the fighting was boring because of the pacing. Also tying into this is the fact that the speed of the units was too slow, maybe try speeding it up some to its closer to actually matching the normal gamespeed.
3] Variety - Try and find a Mod with new units you can use to help spice things up. Spazz did that with the BlackOps Beta for the final Chapter in his movie and it really helped to give him new things to use and to just really add more variety to the armies.
4] Army Colors - Already covered but Worth mentioning again.
5] UEF = ? = We all know what UEF stands for, you don't need to tell us ok? For me it kinda broke the flow of that scene, you get the other factiosn where it's just the name with the units marching around, then UEF you get these brakets telling us stuff and distracting us from teh armies.
6] Don't give up! - Yeah, we might be a little Critical, but its only to help you improve. Its like in the Mod forums, when someone comes to us with an issue we don't just fix it for them and not tell them how we did it, we give hints, tell then what to use as an example or where to look for ideas, its not becasue we hate people or are lazy, its because if soneone does the work for you you don't learn nearly as well.
Now, hop to it!
Mike

Your story lacks plot. What you have shown us should be like chapter 7, after we know the characters, the plot, whats going on, what the purpose of the current battle is, and what the possible outcomes will mean for all involved. Also i wouldnt slow the battle down (except for epic parts/ parts appropiate to story) i would in general speed it up (just a tad) to create a fast action paced battle. And change the music.
The problem with your video is you just have a battle. Stories are about character. Character development, character conflict, how characters interact, thats what people watch movies for. You video is dubbed by others as poor because there is none of that. At a bare minimum you can name some of your soldiers and give them dialog and whatnot before the battle.
Good luck.

Also imo, what orangeknight said, 1,3-5 really dont matter. They are good details, but a good story is a good story and those details wont make a good story or make a good one bad. They are more related to the quality of conveying the story and not the story itself.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I got to say that making videos is fun to do. After watching some of the video I did lose interest almost after 10 secs. This is a big experience for you as a first time machinima artist (lack of a better description). I know when I did my first video I took in lots of criticism or "information" as I like to call it, but after that I learned so many ways to improve and expand my experience into a great video to watch.
Roll with the punches and adapt to make a great video

a tip: go on the wiki and look up how to use and enable the console (if you don't already know) and use the Ren_* commands to disable things like the mouse pointer and selection boxes for filming. this makes it appear more professional overall.
also, you know what that move screams to me?
MENU BACKGROUND! remember the EPIC cybran vs UEF battle in the back of the old vanilla menu? this would be PERFECT as a replacement (sans music, of course) as it incorperates all three factions. add more unit diversity and standard colors, and Win=you.
an excellent first effort.
