Apparently my stuff kicks *** ;). At the moment I'm attempting to make some support experimentals that will feature in Alien Nations unit pack (and perhaps on their own as well).

I tried an earlier version of the mod when it came out. I'll gladly try this improved version :D

But Zodius, I just want one easy model ;-)

Just a mediums sized UEF style bot, maybe in the shape of a lion? Surely Alien Nation can let you off for that? ;-D

So yeah just the lion bot model/ani's.. oh and maybe a pic for the build list in the style of the current units... not much really ;-)

Um, I'm unable to do the animation, purely models, and at present I'm working on a more complex model that will have a real use in game. Also I generally choose whether something is worth working on.

Btw, great mod. It really spices my boring games up :D

Yes, but there is a bug where every mod uploaded to the Vault will be marked as exclusive (even though it will say non-exclusive in the description of the mod in the vault). Unfortunately I don't know how to solve it, you'll have to ask people who successfully uploaded their mods to the vault :)

Nope ... cant get it to work.. Seems to be a bug on the GPG side.

Anyway the "non-exclusive" version of this mod is still available here ;-)

Nice mod, well done for the idea! I certainly would never have thought of modding this myself, as I didn't actually realise there was more than one audio track! :oops:

You can either:

Put the zip file in:
"My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\SupremeCommander\Mods\"

Or unzip the zip to this location (assuming default install path):
C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander\Mods\


A thread describing how to replace the music in supcom is at:

Its not easy or simple. I asked about ways to mod it but the scripting language that supcom uses has had its file IO and export facilities disabled so it doesnt look like its going to be easy to replace the music.

Shame I would like to have at least added some of the music from TA to the playlist! I think the music from TA was more exciting than what we got with Supcom...

After having spent some time listening to the Supcom soundtrack (available from directsong.com) on its own I have to say I prefer it over the TA soundtrack (I have both on my ipod). The supcom soundtrack has much more depth.

As for in game, have you tried turning the music up to 100 and the FX down to 50 while playing the game? It makes the music a lot more noticeable and, along with using my mod to vary the tracks more, I think you will find you enjoy the supcom music more than the TA music.

OK, I'll git it a try! Since I installed your mod I've spent more time modding Supcom than actually playing it but that will change soon as I have plenty of balance testing to catch up on!!

This works great! I had no idea that the music for SC was so good! I still would like the TA music in the background, but now the games are a little more interesting because I don't hear the same 2 tracks. =)

You'll also notice in his sig that he's doing SupCom models already. For us at A.N. And we are going to own any work he does for the next 10 years, as per our contract. :twisted:
