Trying to develope better efficiency in my early game building and collecting strategy... I noticed that when you put a fabricator next to a mex site it shows an adjacency bonus line, but I see no bonus conferred to either building. Help me understand on that one please. I see the benefits on the others.

For the devs, I think it would be nice if when you build generators and fabricators next to your factories that when you select the factory and look at the unit build info it reflects the bonuses given by those adjacent buildings. I only see the bonus after I start building the unit. An adjacency bonus stat listed with the original build and cost times would be nice.

There is no adjustment to build times, just the costs of mass and energy.

Surrounding by energy plants gives a 25% drop in prices, and I think the figure is the same for mass.

You are better off putting t1 power around your factories and ignoring the bonuses.

Surround your MEXes with storage and you'll get 50% more output with storage. It is only worth it for T3, at which point you get the output of a T3 MEX + a T2 MEX. The same works for fabricators and powerplants. So a T3 powerplant would give 3250 rather than just 2500.

You're right, I should have worded it differently

I do understand how the other bonuses are working...came to the same conclusion you did on using t1 power

I hadn't followed it up the tier, but storage next to mexs and fabs is definitely the way to go as you say, I figured that out. Same with power..thanks for the tips. Any answer to the first question though?
