Check it out another player found an issue some of you may also be having with your Intel Core 2 Duo chipsets. McMurmel found that something was missing from the boot.ini file. Namely the /pmtimer.

To find your Boot.ini file, start > run > type msconfig and hit enter. Then go to the BOOT.INI tab in the window that pops up and make sure /pmtimer is in there. If not put it in.
