brandon i don't understand why you are preventing new players from redownloading the latest version that was released a little while ago, so what if it had some bugs.

Considering it was deleted from Mediafire, and I dont have a backup of it?

Then you might want to take it as a sign that you should start making backups of everything........

Sounds like you need to improve your backup strategy then.

So lets say you're working on a model, you should be saving in versions, finished adding that first weapon? Save then start a new version, keep doing this until your model is done.

Then back everything up to at least 2 locations, I have all my 3D stuff(~20GB) on ym Main HD, my 1 TB Main BackUp and my 120GB Portable HD, I usually update these after big projects or once a month(Off Setting one by 2 Weeks, so start of month I update the 1TB, 2 weeks later the 120GB, weeks later the 1TB ect ect)

Then on top of that I like to BackUp important things to DVDs once 3-6 Months or when I don't any tinkering with my Hardware(Installing new stuffs or whatnot)(Usually I'll just burn one off DVDs for specific Projects)

So yeah, Backups are a good thing.

I also have numerous backups of all the mods i ever created.

aye you should never delete any mods you create, they could be a good resource later on and cut down your current mods work load.

I do beleive the old version is a featured mod on FAF =p It can be tried out there.

Why don't you just download that version from the repository and upload that to mediafire or whatever website you want to use?

Considering the FAF team did major changes to it, I would have to completely rework that. Thats too much work as it is.

Guess this leaves only one option... get a working new version out for everyone including FaF
