What is this setting supposed to do?

OPTIONS -- UI OPTIONS -- Find Hotkeys Snap to Unit

Pressing the find idle worker shortcut key "V" changes the view even when that setting is unchecked. Is that setting supposed to make sure that the view does not change when selecting an idle worker? It doesn't work here

The find idle worker button is not meant to behave the same as normal unit selection. Its sole purpose is to assist in locating idle villagers by centering the view, so this one is an exception.
