Ah if only Blizzard would give the console some love.
But in many ways StarCraft 2 feels like a console game.

Achievements, difficulty slider, ship console to view and replay missions. Battle.net has always had a great network, now its super easy to invite and talk to friends, almost like LIVE.

I know GPG is way smaller and doesn't have the bank to support their game like Blizz can, but what a shame we don't get a patch to fix the garbage going on in the console version of Supcom2.

I have no idea what the next console RTS is but I hope its good and the dev supports it.

before I forget, I really hate how I can't control-z to select of the same type units.

or control-A -L -F ect...

if only the two sc2 can merge

What is the pint of this thread again?

Starcraft2 is nice and all, but taking ten years to update the graphics and add a few extra units? thats pretty weak.

I play Supcom1 and 2 because I like the aspects of it. for me Starcraft is a spazzy clickfest with no real macro. Essentially, there really isn't any strategy going on at all.

The point, isn't about what game is better.

The point is how Supcom 2 isn't getting any support console side.

Hope that cleared things up.

And I agree control wise, some things were great in Supcom 1 on console, like selecting specific units from the que, I wish you could do that in Supcom 2 withough having to double click the unit you wanted.

Also transporting was so much smoother in the 1st game.

Supcom got the graphics and smoothed some things out, but they lost some control in units.
