To attempt to re-inject a little life into SupCom2, I am going to be hosting what can only be described as a 'Unique' 1v1 tournament in a few weeks. Probably either a few days before or a few days after Christmas.
The details will intentionally NOT be released before game day. However, I need two extremely trustworthy folks who will volunteer to not play, and can have a couple 30-minute conversations with me over Vent or TS.
I really like my idea, but it's going to need a little refining from people who have thought about this game as much as I have. However, if even one little detail leaks into the player-base, the whole concept of the tournament is ruined and there probably won't be much point to running it.
Birk - I've never run a tournament before - I may request help from you or Word - or if you guys actually want to run it, I'm cool with that. I would just ask we go strictly by the rules I establish.
As always, could use 2-3 commentators that know a lot about the game and are well-spoken.
Sorry Neph - this will be standard tourney, not CBP.
If you think you can keep some juicy details to yourself and know you won't be playing, post here.

Thanks for the responses all, and happy holidays to those who celebrated in the U.S.
Neph - I figured you wouldn't be interested in non-CBP. I'll defiinitely take you up on your offer to help. (Also, sorry I couldn't come back to 1v1 the other day - our son was having a bad day.)
I'm not sure when the most people could play, but I'm thinking about some weekend around the holidays. The 17th-18th weekend is the only weekend that looks viable - unless people want a tournament on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, which would mean my wife kills me. I don't know if people want to wait until Jan 7th
However, two weeks isn't much notice.

I'd love to help as well. My competitive (har-har) SC2 skills are slightly dusty since BF3 came out, so I have no problems sitting out of competing in this.
