Updated to include Aeon (3rd post on first page), tell me what you think again guys, and let me know any ideas you think might fit in.

Also updated a few cybran ideas and added to UEF.

i personally prefer that they add something like the goliath or bulldog, fido ecc.. from TA, i want to see units that shoot some bullets not only lazor or plasma...

also the units are too small compared to a factory, i don't like it...

UEF doesn't have any lazorz. Unless you count TMD which are all lasers.

Poor guy, he's stuck in TA mode.

There won't be a unit like the Goliath or Bulldog because those units are redundant. The UEF Rockhead tank can be upgraded to fill the role of a Bulldog/Goliath; another unit is superfluous. Even in OTA, no high-level player built any of those units because they were too slow and inefficient cost-wise.

how they can be redundant if they are in different faction? redundant is something like repear and goliath not bulldog and goliath...it's like saying that rockhead tank is redundant because there are also Yenzoo tank lol...


speaking clearly, i didn't miss the goliath itself, just stuff like the goliath(big tank, not little pussy...) or The Can, those were cool units...

I meant redundant in that rather than building 1 Bulldog, you could build lots of Flashes which would be better than building 1 Bulldog. Just like how almost no one ever built a Krogoth because 200 Samsons would almost instantly wreck it. I meant that the class of units which included Bulldogs and Goliaths were redundant.

it's not always true, against heavy defence is better to have some armored tank than flash, they die to fast...but i understand what u mean now

Actually I made a post in this thread about just such tanks. More than a few people have asked for a Tier 2 units. I didn't get any negative criticism.

it would be also cool to see more diversity between the factions(i.e. uef have tanks, cybran spiderbot/kbot and aeon overcraft tank/bot...)

What I want is a smaller range on the structure destruct so loyalists can kill pd/mass effectively without dying. I also want the fatboy to be less op so the cybran megalith can actually do some damage and have a chance at killing them. Also I would like better air ballance so we dont see only uef on team games air battles which later turns into a stalemate (and the flares to be put down). I would also like a cybran researchable tank and a more useful KK.

I really hope you are joking and I just can't tell because it is text and not you speaking....

If this is 'nothing what GPG has been doing' lets look at DLC1:
shotja - overpowered
giant sheild - gimmick
more health for Aeon planes - overpowered
teleport on Aeon planes - gimmick
Cybran Navy gets jump jets? - Overpowered AND gimmick!
Monkeylord comes back? - Overpowered and gimmick!

So pretty much just keeping the ideas in line :D.

In FA there was a new t2 uef bot with a gattling gun on its right side, and something like a grenade luancher on its left side. It shot in large bursts and took some time to reload, (about 4 seconds) and it had good range (maybe not but that is what i think it should have if they add it. I might be wrong on some parts on how it was because I haven't played FA in a while.
I think it should be about 175 mass, low health, and be fast and high dps, the grenage luancher shoot about 6 grenades in bursts with something like 5 seconds to recharge. They would have high area damage. The gatling gun would be continuous and able to shoot until it's out of range.
This almost sounds like a shotja, except this is faster, does more area damage, and higher dps and can shoot on the move. It would be very expensive and probably behind the titan on the tech tree. Maybe 3 rp, would all this make it balanced with such a high cost, so that it would only be effective with 4 or 5 at a time? Or would this just ruin it completely?
