Alright the deal is I like to model stuff just for the fun of it, Ive always been a TA to Supcom fan and so Ive made a few things here and there for fun. I realized though that these models dont need to sit around and rot alone and unused.

An so within this thread I will post whatever I make all for yous to use at your own discretion, in SupCom FA mods and unit packs, please all I ask is (a) Give me due credit (b) these are to be used for Forged Alliance only, no SC2 sorry, since I would like to be able to play around with them myself if anything comes from them.

I do apologies these models are bare as can be, no textures or animations, frankly that stuffs never been my forte and I really dont want to go near that stuff =P

So yeah feel free to do whatever with these, another thing what ever ideas I post along with the models and concepts aren't concrete, you can make whatever stat and armament wise of them, just though Id share what I had in my head when I thought up of these so feel free to make them whatever adjustments ect you'd think is appropriate.

Also if possible I ask that anything done with these models be posted here, screen shots, file downloads, progress shots and all that sort of stuff would be great :D

The Krogoth's eye laser should be a Heavy Microwave Laser, but fires in quick sudden bursts, rather than a continous beam. That would fit with both the original and Cybran weapon design, I think.

The weapons I have drafted up for the Cybran Krogoth go along these lines.

Head (180* turret) = Pulse Fire Microwave Laser (Compliments of Yholls suggestion)
Arm Mounted x2 =Ultra Heavy Disintegrator Pulse Laser
Back Mounted x2= Guided Loa Tactical Missile System (Or something to that effect)

But I'm no coder or anything so anyone who picks up this unit model once done, is free to implement whatever weapons into those slots.

I have been sketching up designs for the head so far and I will be posting them sometime during the week. I tend to jump into my other models for UEF stuff.

But for Cybran I want to make sure I get the look right, plus its the Krogoth I want to give it a proper and kickass homeage =D

Alright I did some quick sketches for the new Krogoths head and think I'm onto something, and here they are.

(A) A was the first attempt, I applied the more "bug" like designs that the Cybran use to it but I feel it deviated quite a bit from the original look, plus it didn't seem to imposing, but it was the start of the split lower jaw/pincers which I much prefer to the bear trap mouth of the original.

(B) Was an attempt to visualize A from side on and add to it...lets pretend this never happened...

(C) I myself am really partial to C, though is way too complicated for modeling IMO and for the games style.

(D) D to me sees like a much better candidate for the head, Its much closer to the original TA design.

I feel it also conveys the monstrous look of that the Krogoth originally had, plus this one would be a lot easier then C to model.

(E) E Was D's design with a visor and some digital eyes added, though I feel the eyes take away from the Krogoths fearsomeness as it was this eyeless cyclops thing

In all cases the design is keeping the powerful laser/beam its its maw.

Any input or opinions?

They're all awesome, but I think the top row looks more like a gunship than a head.

Ya, D's the best variant by far XD I would be happy to code it ^^ I know how to make custom projectiles, so I can pretty much give the SupCom Krogoth similar weapons to the TA Krogoth ^^

Just a quick concept for T3 Cybran fast strike rocket boat me and friends discussed, I was also trying to get down the Cybran style and all here. It would be T3 and quite small and fragile for its tier level

Good to see your still at it ^^ The Boat looks awesome =p

But what Im curious about, is how is that Krogoth coming? I got a great place for it in my Ordos mod XD
