I think you'd be better off revamping the original riot gun, from what I recall from Supcom2 there aren't any UEF weapons quite like that and it'd really help it stand out from the rest. Also the general weapon housing(I hope its not on a turret! ;p) is rather large, considering UEF don't do much for hover I see it more as something they need to keep smaller for it to be as effective(or at least similar to) as Aeon Hover.
I do think thought that the AA upgrade would suite the Riptide better than arty, because it could be needing it out on the sea where there isn't AA available(there is Naval Cruisers, but I'm working on the assumption that Riptides will be a tool used to help take back the sea if you've lost your foothold in it)

the PD looks neat though

New Cybran SCU WIP. I would like to hear some feed back on this unit before I texture it. Do you like it, do you hate it, what needs improving and any extras you think might look cool XD.

From what I can tell, all it will have is an AA upgrade? I can't make out anything for Jump Jets except those air intake vents at each side of it's head. Also, the ankles look a little thin to support the whole upper body. Keep up the good work with the Revamp Mod.

Unfortunately PtC, there isn't much to critique there yet. I fear you've fallen into a trap many aspiring modelers for Supcom/FA fall for and thats doing something before you're ready. You know what the first thing I got into the game was? 3 Cubes made to resemble a tank; It wasn't much, but I learned from it, an d until then I had a limited understanding of how everything needed to go together for a SupCom model and I had wasted a bunch of time on trying something on a more complicated model only to end up having to redo work as I was trying stuff. and even when you've done your tests/proof-of-concepts start small, do a few T1 units, they're quick, easy and a great way to learn each Faction's unique styling. If you're still new to 3D modeling entirely I'd suggest trying Model Hacks(importing a stock model and cutting, scaling ect ect to create a new unit) as it will help you learn the basic manipulation controls while still having the possibility of turning out new units. And don't feel too bad, if I could send a message 4 years back to myself about when I started Modding, I'd give the same advice! xD Mike

Phil I think you'll find nothing but help and advice. The more modellers etc. for the game, the better. If your looking for tutorials, I found this site a few days ago. http://www.allcgtutorials.com/ Just pick whatever program your using on the right and theres loads. Good luck.
