I guess I should of specified it, but I kinda meant for the ACU to further assist in economic constructions.

No need to give away my entire base location by walking my ACU around just yet.

I guess I'll build an air factory and fill up some of those nearby mexes, surrounding them with pgens.

Almost.

Everyone, remember that (in my idea's), you don't need anything to build stuff. So no ACU and no Engineers. You can just say: "I'll build economy" and it magically happens. How it will happen, depends on the RTD part of course.

So, you can use your ACU for other things. In the case of Mazrix and regabond, the ACU is not used. No units are used, so there is no "army" action. The ACU did not do anything.

Is it clear now? So the only way you could use your ACU at this moment (by using an "army" action), is by sending it to scout.

I think that the two of you may now still use the ACU for something else.
I'm a breaking my own rules now :oops: but it's the beginning of the game.

EDIT, you have to TELL BY YOURSELF if you want to give your ACU something to do (it can only scout now though). I won't automatically do that.

No, there are several options in the "economy" section. Upgrading factory will upgrade the factory to T2 or T3, but it will not upgrade your economy to T2 or T3. That is a seperate action. You can do one "economy action" per turn. So either:
Upgrade factory (T1 -> T2).
Upgrade economy (T1 -> T2).
build more economy (small -> large -> very large).
Build units.

I'll let your ACU scout. Rolling now but I'm waiting for releasing the results though.

It's been 3 days since I let the first round start. He'll have to catch up, hoping to throw nothing but 6. He's been around on the forums for the last days, so I hope he'll notice this soon enough.

Going on for the round 1 results now:

Roll 1
Rolls

DeadMG builds a land factory (automatically) and sends out his ACU to scout while building more economy.

DeadMG rolls a 5 for scouting! DeadMG finds an open spot in the Forest, where he could build a small Hydrocarbon plant. A small hydrocarbon plant gives a +1 with all economy rolls as soon as it is built, but only while his economy is at T1.
He also finds stones that can be reclaimed: Automatically Reclaiming it, DeadMG gets a +1 bonus for the economy roll in the next turn.

DeadMG rolls a 1 for economy building! DeadMG’s Power generators explode! DeadMG now has a “weak” economy. The only thing that he can do with it now, is try to rebuild it to “small”.

regabond builds a land factory (automatically) and then upgrades the economy:

regabond rolls a 1 for economy building! One mass extractor and one Power generator explode! regabond now has a “weak” economy. Also he can only use his economy to try to rebuild it to “small”.

Mazrix builds an Air factory and now tries to upgrade his economy. He also scouts with his ACU:

With scouting, his ACU rolls a 4! Mazrix finds a lot of reclaimables and reclaims them. These will give him a +2 bonus with the economy roll in the next turn.

Mazrix rolls a 1 for economy building! His two mass extractors explode! The power generators remain and now all Mazrix has is a “weak” economy. Only thing he can do with it is trying to rebuild it to “small”.

WNxWolfinator builds an air factory and now tries to upgrade his economy. Additionally, he tries to do the moonwalk with his ACU.

WNxWolfinator rolls a 6 for moonwalking! While doing so, he finds a spot for a small hydrocarbon plant and a lot of stones. A small hydrocarbon plant will give a +1 bonus for all economy rolls as soon as it is built, but only while his economy is at T1.
The high amount of stones give him a +2 for the economy roll at the next turn.

WNxWolfinator rolls a 2 for upgrading his economy, fail. Nothing happens. His economy is still a "small economy".

CommanderDude has gotten a delay in gating in on planet, he is late!

Status

Mazrix:
Economy: Weak (can do nothing with it, but to upgrade it to "small", this will roll a 3 at least)
Army: None
ACU: No damage, no upgrades
Factories: Air only

WNxWolfinator:
Economy: Small

ACU: No damage, no upgrades

regabond:

ACU: Not yet present.
Factories: To be determined.

Bonuses:
Mazrix: +2 for economy roll in the next turn, turn 2.
WNxWolfinator: +2 for economy roll in the next turn, turn 2.
DeadMG: +1 for economy roll in the next turn, turn 2.

Possibilities:
WNxWolfinator: can build a small hydrocarbon plant (gives +1 to economy rolls when built, as long as economy is T1.
DeadMG: can build a small hydrocarbon plant (gives +1 to economy rolls when built, as long as economy is T1.

That takes more time than I thought. I did the rolls in the past days already, but adding the status, bonus and possibilities sections and the colours takes some time.

I'll try to make a map or something, but that will take some time at least. Don't expect it rightaway, it might not come at all, but I think I'll make one, to keep things sorted for myself! :)

Ah what the heck. Mexes aren't volatile. Oh well....

I begin short range scouting with my ACU. I also attempt to rebuild my damaged economy, using the destroyed mex and power generator's wrecks to assist.

Funny how basically everyone's eco suddenly self destructed.

Ok, I have rolled for the actions of Mazrix and regabond.

Lifekatana, enjoy the show :)

In round one, I took the first rolls as economy (all from random.org), just clicking the "generate" button at the first time I clicked, every time I visited the site again for a roll of every single one of you.

Now, I have asked for a sequence of ten rolls, in columns of five. I'll write these numbers down and then pick the first column for the first one that posts here. Because that is not the same every time again, there's even more chance in it.

EDIT: I think I'm going to get a real dice, just to make sure that it is really random. However, the dices that my friends and I have from this game (Settlers of Catan) are corrupt so I shouldn't use those....

No problem, you missed the first turn but that didn't really matter because the rolls managed to ruin everyone's economy (only WNxWolfinator's economy is spared, but he still had no use to the roll).

Is it possible to use my ACU to build the hydro and upgrade my eco at the same time?
If that's possible, I build the hydro plant and upgrade my eco
I use my ACU to assist in building the hydro

No that's not possible, but if you roll very high (that is: 6), you might get the hydro at the same time. Your ACU cannot assist. I might add "assisting" with engineers and ACU etc. to it, but then I'll have to think of something extra for engineers to do.

Anyway, for now, you can only do constructing stuff with your "economy" roll
And the only thing the ACU can do in the "economy" roll is "upgrading".

It is going quite slow at the moment, so it might be a good idea to put in a third roll, that you can spend on either eco or army. I'll not put it in before the third turn though.

Wolfinator, your ACU has to do another action now. Again, only scouting is possible. Since your economy is at "small", you also have to choose what to do. Build the hydro or upgrade economy.
