As long as it makes sense and is solid to the reader, that is all that matters to me.

Raids of Tyranny: The Rise of an AirforceAerial combat craft are always useful at destroying your opponent, but even air combat can be taken to the next level just like the new breed of naval warfare. I have already suggested "Sea Planes", but other types of aircraft would also benefit on the field of battle. Weather anomalies such as rain, snow, and dust storms are all examples of enviromental effects which would drastically decrease accuracy and targeting of enemy units. Your air planes will also have much fluid movement and maneuverability and will also never go through one another. This also leads to the concept of certain aircraft flying at certain levels in the sky, such as bombers who fly high over other aircraft.Supreme Commander 3: Raids of TyrannyExamples of Aircrafts used by the factionsIlluminate: Multi Purpose Attack Saucer "Oculon"I dug up this old Aeon Illuminate concept on gamespy and it looks pretty cool. I also wonder why it was never implemented into the original Supreme Commander game?http://pc.gamespy.com/dor/objects/75528 ... 01544.htmlCybran: Armored Assault Bomber "Razor Back" These are armored aircraft used to dish out heavy payloads on structures and land units. You can upgrade these bombers to help fight against other aircraft, but the new anti-air weapons are a bit inaccurate compared to "T3 Interceptors"United Earth Federation: Armored Assault Troop Carrier "C-15 Star Lifter" These new Armored Assault Troop Carriers are a redefined transport outfitted to deal with heavy combat. In the past wars all factions have took the time to reconsider new designs and upgrades. One such upgrade in particular for the UEF are mortar cannons to deal with squadrons of opposing ground forces.Pirates: Armored Gunship "Side Swipe" A deadly new addition to Pirate aerial forces. The Side Swipe gunship is usually seen in squadrons harrassing many units ranging from structures to sea vessels as with all faction's gunships.

Raids of Tyranny: Experimental Origins
Everyone loved to build these super units in previous SupCom titles and they all had amazing feats capable of winning many battles. Basically, these units are what made Supreme Commander simply, Supreme Commander! These units were huge, but who says an experimental has to be? Couldn't commando type units be experimental? What about strato fighters for high atmosphere/space battles? There are so many ideas out there, but today I wanted to discuss about two Pirate Experimentals and where they came from.
Experimental Assault Bot: The Scrap Tyrant This is a bipedal walker and is the biggest and tallest "walking" machine in the Pirate Lord's arsenal. Each faction would have a unit similar to this such as the UEF's King Kriptor, and the Illuminate's Colossus, the only difference is that it has a bit less armor compared to these guys and so carries a personal shield. Thanks to less bulk the Scrap Tyrant is much more quicker at running around on the field of battle. The reason being because the Pirate Lord "equipped" a menacing weapon to this very tough machine. The Scrap Tyrant comes equipped with a deadly hand held, magazine fed "Quantum Guass Accelerator Shotgun". This Shotgun does devestating damage and is almost an instant kill up close to any other unit besides other experimentals (although it does soaks up damage very quickly). Another feat about the Scrap Tyrant's Shotgun is that it can slay incoming air craft as well and so does not need Anti-air weaponry.
If you used the Scrap Tyrant to fight an Illuminate Colossus and the Scrap Tyrant won an "Experimental Execution Animation" would take place. The Scrap Tyrant loads his Shotgun with a clip of ammo and shoots the entire torso chassis of the Collosus off and that hunk of metal flies many meters away destroying any other little units in the way. The Colossus' legs are left standing there and the Scrap Tyrant then finishes it off by side kicking it down! The Scrap Tyrant has very fluid movement and this is rare for such a massive machine, of course if you did this the Scrap Tyrant is open for an all out assault!
Origin? It is unknown where the Pirate Lord aquired this devestating technology, but one reason for it was to combat the Seraphim's many quantum assault units and weapons. The Seraphim themselves fear this "Shotgun" and it is rumored the Seraphim know where he got the schematics. An ancient amphibious temple on an all water planet is rumored to hold an ancient sentient robot with a vey alien design and was created way before the Seraphim themselves. The exact purpose of this robot was unknown and seems to be non functional. As for the Scrap Tyrants these massive machines are usually seen on key worlds and places of interest and the Pirate Lord only reveals them to inspire fear into the other factions to decimate their most crucial bases.
Experimental Enviromental Adapting Serpent: The Scrap Viper The Viper is a machine that utilizes experimental movement technology and slays it's prey with deadly "Integral Acidic Emitters" located in it's mouth. It is by far the "longest" experimental ever seen and was actually witnessed constricting a Cybran Battleship! It is amphibious and skimms across large bodies of water and even super heated magma at extreme speeds. Since the Viper is so agile it's armor is much more resiliant compared to other experimentals. Also other factions have seen the Scrap Vipers swap acidic projectiles to continuous green particle beams that do concentrated damage to their targets.
Origins? The Pirate Lord favored agility above all else and this was key to creating such a creative unit. Studying snake movements was another thought taken into mind and so the Pirate Lord sieged colonies to gain access to scientists specializing in this kind of robotics. Succeeding the colonies have been left forgotten and the Pirate Lord was able to develope this experimental serpent. Vipers are generally seen on backwater worlds and are yet another deadly foe to look out for, due to their highly acidic attacks capable of melting armor and enemy units quickly!

Raids of Tyranny: The War at Night...
Yes that's right, imagine skirmishes and missions in Supreme Commander 3 taking place at night! Your structures would have lights and all your combat units could emit different colored lights as well. Lasers would light up the battlefield and deadly sea units would stalk your enemy's shores waiting to commence bombardament on their base. Airplanes would gain a significant bonus at night raids and so you would have to upgrade your AA Turrets to help keep them from harassing you via night vision/heat vision, etc. Night would add even more strategy and fun for you guys and it could be an interesting twist to the series of Supreme Commander. Fighting at dusk/dawn would also be available in terms of skirmish and campaign missions.

Raids of Tyranny: The Strato Cons
I finally came up with a good name for the 5th faction other then calling them Pirates and such. This faction still utilizes the same concepts as depicted before, but instead of the Pirate Lord it is now the Strato Lord. The fictional plot line I developed known as Origins of the Pirate Lord will be tweaked and explained better, because I actually came up with some even better ways on the origins of this new character and a better plot line. Alpha Symbionts have a bigger role, the Ziggurat Facility is still utilized, Scrap like wreckage machines are still the style, and the Strato Lord's Lueitenants are still the same. Oh yeah, and Xzor is still there, but with much bigger revelation.
As far as new concepts go, the Strato Lord forms the faction known as the Strato Cons and escapes the Labyrinth Prison Complex with his new team members to a forgotten Scrapyard moon only to be hunted by some of the most vigorous mercs around the galaxy one formely known as Tycho who is of Illuminate origin and makes more then one appearance to capture Gavin the Strato Lord.

Raids of Tyranny: New Plot/Story Intro and Concepts
Concept 1 Echoes of the Forgotten Symbionts During the reign of the Earth Empire and beginning of the Infinite War, Dr. Gustaf Brackman successfully joined an AI component to that of a human host. These hosts who were hand picked, were the first to be planted with his new technology and Brackman hoped with the power of these implants humans would be better adept with advanced calculations and scientific study. They were called Alpha Symbionts and they were not so successful when it came to loyalty and orders. Brackman noted that serious changes had to be made and the Alpha Symbionts felt threatend and destroyed most of the laboratory equippment, they also inflicted serious damage to Brackman himself. The Alpha Symbiont who led this violent attack went by the name of "Shadow Byte". Shadow Byte and his small clan of Alpha Symbionts fled to the nearest space hangar stealing a colony transport which was later taken off to a Quantum Gate and never seen again. Brackman covered up these events and since he was severley injured he seeked medical aid and started to fix up a better cybernetic implant . This time he wasn't alone, and he made sure a new scientific team was made and ready to construct this new technology.
Brackman made sure he would be the next host to under go the procedure, and if it was successful he would start upgrading his own people with this new AI implant. The project was a success and the New Implants didn't have any flaws and issues and so were immediatley implanted into new hosts and were called simply, Symbionts. The Earth Empire were now aware of these Symbionts and they enslaved Brackman's people to do their bidding. Brackman then fled and created his own nation known as the Cybran and fought in the Infinite War to liberate his children. Shadow Byte and his clan of Alpha Symbionts watched in the shadows secretly gathering new intel on humanity's colonial expansions and he also made sure spies were placed in strategic locations around the galaxy. Shadow Byte sought to rid Brackman later in time and so he decided to cause a bit of anarchy in one system, specifically on the planet known as Seraphim 2.

Raids of Tyranny: New Plot Updated
Concept 2 Xeno Decimation After the events back with Brackman and his symbionts, humanity staged a colony on Seraphim 2 and these people were exposed to the first ever recorded extra-terrestrial civilization dubbed the Seraphim. They were a peacefull species who interacted with the colonists very well and they helped these people understand something known as "The Way". Knowing that humanity was exposed to an alien species, the Earth Empire dispatched forces known as the Xenophobic Soldiers to rid the Seraphim, due to the fact humans were changing in behavior and acting ubnormally. Since the Armored Command Units were not created yet, only infantry robots and other standard assault units were sent via colonial space transports through the Quantum Gates. Before reaching the planet Seraphim 2, the Xenophobic attack force were required to make stops at certain outposts along the way to refuel and meet up with another transport of troops known as the Retribution. Earth Empire communications told the force that they lost contact with the Retribution at one of the fueling depots and that they should investigate.
As the colonial transports went through the gates, an unexpected enemy awaited them at the 3rd refueling outpost, the outpost where the Retribution last contacted them. Shadow Byte and his Alpha Symbionts beat the Xenophobic task force and siezed and pillaged the transport by simply destroying the fuel depot while it was docked and the Xenophobic Task Force was left severly crippled. With such success Shadow Byte left his second in command known as Unit: 9 to become the new commander of the task force and their main objective remained the same: decimate all seraphim. The original Xenophobic Earth Commander was killed by Unit: 9 to ensure who was in charge and he used his vicious violence to commence the invasion on Seraphim 2. Shadow Byte then resumed command of his new colonial transport the Retribution and headed through the opposite gate to find a new secret homeworld where he could build upon his own society in a nuetral territory zone.

Raids of Tyranny: Beginning Story Con't
Concept 3 Integral Deception As the Xenophobic Soldiers rained down from above, Unit: 9's cybran transport which was stolen earlier from Brackman's hangar contained a nuclear device which was given to him by Shadow Byte. The invading forces headed for the capital of Seraphim 2 where most of the Seraphim were staged, and detonated the nuke remotley leaving the city in ruins. All Seraphim were killed and this left many humans on Seraphim 2 in a stage of unforgiving hatred, and vowed to cleanse the galaxy of people who didn't believe in The Way, with this belief and vow of revenge the Aeon Illuminate were formed. After the nuclear detonation Unit: 9 leaves Seraphim 2 and transmitts to Shadow Byte that the mission was completed. Shadow Byte then tells Unit: 9 to create a staging point on Seraphim 2's orbiting moon where they may watch the ever vengeful Aeon Illuminate rebuild their army.
After many years during the Infinite War Princess Rhianne Burke rose to the throne of her civilization. As the war raged on ACU's were created for better combat efficiency and rapid army generation. Knowing this Princess Burke recruited many commanders to serve her and the homeworld. One young commander known as Xzor proved to her that he was the best choice and also showed his combat skills with an ACU by decimating an invading Cybran army with the odds in their favor. Pleased, Princess Burke took Xzor as her right hand man in times of great need, even if she did not know him that well. Xzor's lust for power got a hold of him and the Princess was his top priority to kill. As the Princess was speaking to Xzor in private he all of a sudden reveals he is the rightful heir to the throne, and soon attempts to murder her by shooting her with a plasma pistol. With failure the Princess ran and alerted guards while Xzor mysteriously vanishes into the shadows of the Royal Palace.
Xzor then radios back to the orbiting moon of Seraphim 2 and informs his secret master no other than Unit: 9, the mission resulted in failure. As for Princess Burke she informs her council that Xzor dissappeared and that he most likely was working with somebody presumeably the United Earth Federation.

Raids of Tyranny: New Intro Con't
Concept 3.B Secret of Xzor Before Princess Burke rose to power Unit: 9 dispatched Cybran Infiltrators on certain less seedier regions of Seraphim 2 to find a very good captain who would serve as a pawn for his secret doings. This pawn would then be implanted with a Cybernetic Nueral Parasite which was created by Shadow Byte and his very own team of Cybran scientists back on his home region. These parasites were very small mind controlling insect like implants which would infect the spinal cord of the victim, and wrap its small legs up to the cerebral cortex of the brain. Shadow Byte wanted to prove that Brackman wouldn't be the only 1,000 year old genius in the galaxy, but since he did not want to expose himself just yet, these operations had to remain stealthy and secret. Unit: 9 then found a special commander who went by the name of Xzor, who proved an aptitude for ACU commanding, and so was infected with the Cybernetic Parasite.
Xzor's mission was to kill the Princess who just recently rose to power, and if he succeeded, a throne of power awaited him to command the ever growing Aeon Civilization. Creating a plan was not easy due to the fact Princess Burke was a heavily guarded individual by both the council (including Evaluator Toth) and armed guards. When Unit: 9 recieved Xzor's transmission he was immediatley picked up by a transport which then took him back to Seraphim 2's moon. The reason being was to turn Xzor into an Illuminate Alpha Symbiont, which were orders given to Unit: 9 by Shadow Byte himself.
Birth of the Watchers Xzor became an Alpha Symbiont and a very potential one, as he felt the symbiotic feeling very godlike. As the years passed Shadow Byte implants more people with these Cybernetic Nueral Parasites. UEF individuals preferably the ones in politics were infected first to serve him and ensure he had full control over major military and political decisions in strategic UEF controled regions. Soon enough after the events at the Black Sun Facility, Shadow Byte got word about the ever traitorous computer known as QAI and how he served an alien race. Shadow Byte was originally unaware of Brackman's custom AI, but since he had many spies infected by the parasites intel was very easy to come by without exposing himself. As a rift opened upon planet Earth many cities were ravaged by the aliens and the Cybran, UEF, and Illuminate had unite to slow down the invasion and make a push through their forces.
The Coalition was the name given to the united factions and Shadow Byte used this new government to his advantage thanks to his infected individuals feeding him intel on the inside. Many years went by and the Alpha Symbionts had to upgrade their functionalities to better suit their needs. Immediatley their brains were transplanted into bio mechanical suits which were then upgraded to hardend bipedal combat chassis'. These menacing chassis gave the ability of Shadow Byte and his clan of Alpha Symbionts to move, walk and even fight hand to hand combat with extreme precision and force (think of it as Terminator, but being controlled by a human cybernetic brain). And so the secret society dubbed The Watchers was born...
Known Watchers of the Galaxy Shadow Byte: He is younger than Brackman by a decade and is the twisted leader of the Watchers who seeks to destroy Brackman and rule the Cybran Nation as well as the galaxy.
Unit: 9: Second in command to Shadow Byte and Watcher of planet Seraphim 2, he was responsible for leading the invasion force of Xenophobic Soldiers and catalyst for ingniting the Aeon's involvement in the Infinite War.
Xzor: First infected being to under go the Cybernetic Parasite, he was originally supposed to assassinate Princess Burke, but failed and was turned into an Alpha Symbiont or what he calls a "Shadow Aeon".
Only 3 more Alpha Symbionts remain and they were part of the original rebellion back at Brackman's lab. Together these Alpha Symbionts and Shadow Byte formulated a plan to develope a structure known as the Ziggurat which would form the the base of their true plan. The Coalition was winning the war agianst the Seraphim and it was only a matter of time before peace entered the galaxy. An Archon of Destruction had to be made to ensure peace did not prevail, and that archon would be the tool used by the Watchers for galactic anarchism.

Raids of Tyranny: Lore Con't
Concept 4 Origins of the Archon After the events of the Black Sun incident, Shadow Byte recieves word that Brackman created a super computer known as QAI and that it was actually a servant to the alien race known as the Seraphim. As the Seraphim invaded human controlled space, many colonies fell to the quantum based beings. The Watchers had to strategically pick the right colony to search for any civilian survivors without drawing attention to both the Coalition and Seraphim. In order that this crucial mission succeeded Shadow Byte decided to send his trusted enforcer known as Slade. Slade was a much bulkier and bigger alpha symbiont compared to the others and so had a much more heavily armored chassis. As Slade's transport entered the atmoshpher, he immediatley jumps out in his custom "sub command unit" and begins the search for survivors. Rallying all he can, Slade comes across the only known living boy in the colony that survived the Seraphim raid. Under orders of Shadow Byte, Slade had to kill the boy's family and ensure that he reached the transport by all means necessary. Scared, the boy runs for his family and Slade jumps out of the manned cockpit in his sub command unit to chase him on foot.
With unmatched stamina Slade quickly catches up and finds the boy's home and his parents. The boy's father attempts to fight, but Slade's monstrous mechanical appearence quickly took care of the family by slaughtering them in front of the boy's eyes. Angry the boy tries to fight back, but instead is picked up and taken to the sub command unit. All of a sudden a Seraphim land assault mop up party was faintly seen in the distance rapidly approaching the colony to destroy any remaining humans. Slade quickly got aboard his Cybran transport and headed for the newly constructed Ziggurat Facility, where the boy would build and train himself to be the Galactic Archon of Destruction.

Raids of Tyranny: Overview and Concepts
Where would Supreme Commander 3's Tutorial Mission Fit? I already talked about previously on how the Alpha Symbionts train Gavin in the Ziggurat Facility. I also already explained that he is capable of utilizing all 3 Acu's of the Cybran, Illuminate, and UEF in battle and as well as at base management. When I started thinking of how to make the story better, I also took the time to think about how missions in game could take place. I mean, imagine the tutorial level taking place: you start out as Gavin in a Cybran ACU and your mission is to destroy a colony on some planet under UEF control. In order to get some one's attention in this galaxy, you would have to destroy some crucial region. What better way to use a Cybran ACU to make the other factions think Brackman was responsible? Well anyways, Gavin builds a simple base utilizing resource structures, defense turrets, adjacent bonuses, etc. everything is explained and your enemy is relentless at defending their colony. The reason why the turtorial would take place like this is to show you that Gavin is not a kind person. He instead is a man who is taught violence from a young age and knows nothing better other than robotics, engineering, working out, and ACU domination. He has been training for years with the Alpha Symbionts secretly in a structure that apparently has been over shadowed and funded by controlled indviduals.
Commander Gauge's Involvement? Gustaf Brackman knows of Shadow Byte and his traitorous alpha symbionts although fails to reveal that such people exist. The Earth Empire themselves never even knew this small clan existed, but they were aware of the "standard symbionts": thought to be the original first ones and so used them as slaves for there great empire. If you played Supreme Commander 2 and have seen the ending cinematic Brackman tells commander Gauge (while fusing his brain with a seraphim) are you ready for another adventure? At this instance I would tell him: There is something I should have told my fellow children years ago... you know, "ALPHA SYMBIONTS". So if Supreme Commander 3 ever existed and it was my version, Commander Gauge would be Dr. Brackman's personal enforcer to help track down Shadow Byte and destroy him, as he poses as a threat to the entire Cybran Nation. Ivan Brackman on the other hand stays with the coalition and helps form new standards for the government etc., but would eventually also get involved with this galactic conflict.

Raids of Tyranny: Strato Cons mission and plot concepts
Tutorial: Alpha Raid This mission again would play in the story when Shadow Byte issues tests of training and loyalty of his new tool: The Archon of Destruction responsible for galactic anarchism. Raiding a UEF colony to get the galaxy's attention alerts many coalition command centers and since Gavin used a cybran ACU, it is believed that Gustaf Brackman himself was responsible for the attack. Again, players would learn all the basics in this tutorial mission with a few twists and challenges including bonus objectives, etc.
Ziggurat Arena: Story Concept While training in the hidden Ziggurat Facility for many years, and after the events of the alpha colony raid, Gavin is issued to fight great commanders, who in secret signed shadowed contracts with The Watchers. One of these commanders was special and was hosted as the final test to fight Gavin and prove his ultimate potential. This commander's name was Sabrina and she is able to persuade Gavin that these masters of his are not what they seem to be, and are instead very evil twisted sentient individuals who plan just to use him as a tool for more greater evil. Remembering the past, Gavin pictures one of the Alpha Symbionts killing his family and taking him to a transport, thanks to this memory a spark is lit and he realizes he has been brought upon nothing, but violence and the vow to cause great conflict in the galaxy.
Being a recluse and a secret enemy that was being brewed in a dark corner of the galaxy, Gavin decides to go rogue and avenge the fallen innocents that were killed by these so called Watchers. Gavin and Sabrina stand down in the combat arena and together try to find a way out of the Ziggurat Facility quickly and efficiently. It is here where a powerful commander known Xzor the Shadow Aeon quickly uses a "stasis encasing" attack emmitted from his custom ACU which seemed to have just teleported out of thin air. Both Sabrina and Gavin are taken from their ACU's and instead of killing them, Xzor with the rest of The Watchers decide to throw them in a highly secured UEF prison known as the Labyrinth Complex. It is here where Shadow Byte leader of the Watchers decides to take matters into his own hands by conducting more small raids that would eventually trigger a new war. He calls them the RAIDS OF TYRANNY, and after 1000+ years of watching and waiting over the past conflicts of the galaxy, Shadow Byte unleashes his full potential. His first target: Dr. Gustaf Brackman leader of the Cybran Nation and the father of all symbionts.

Raids of Tyranny: Strato Con missions/plot concepts con't
Labyrinth Catalyst: Mission and Story Gavin and Sabrina are taken to the Labyrinth Complex which is prison under UEF control via patrolling Mech Marines and armed guards. The Warden calls the shots, but their is more then just regular prison life happening around here, and Gavin quickly realizes this as he is stationed into his prison cell. Here he meets a new character known as Dredd Vakken who is an ex UEF commander sentenced for life due to his knowledge on secret UEF military facilities and trying to expose them. Gavin and Dredd tell each other stories about what was truly going on in the galaxy, even though Gavin's story sounds a bit far fetched. Believing that such beings exist (The Watchers) Dredd informs Gavin that the Labyrinth Complex is a secret military test sight designed to house new machines known as "Infantry Support Mechs", resulting in failure these large "manned" combat mech prototypes were housed right underneath the Labyrinth itself in a cargo bay. Gavin decides to use this knowledge to his advantage, as he was a master with robotics and engineering of all UEF military hardware, he tells Dredd that taking control of one could be the key to escaping the Labyrinth.
As the days went on Gavin discovers flaws in the Prison's schedules and routines and quickly analyzes all surroundings of the rooms he is taken to. Large industrial vents were the only passages available to actually even have a chance at finding the secret cargo bay underneathe the Labyrinth. He tells Dredd this and together they formulate a plan to find a special friend who is also housed in this facility and to escape the facility once and for all via the space hangars. Sabrina was important due to her commanding skills and finding her was key to success, because 3 commondeered Infantry Support Mechs are better then one anyways. Following vent passages both Dredd and Gavin finally find Sabrina's cell and quickly and take care of the guards, freeing her. Together, the trio finally find the secret cargo bay and the mannable Infantry Support Mech prototypes. Gavin quickly solves the problems with these mechs and soon become fully operational. They also discover that engineers were stationed here as well and Gavin tells Dredd to control one remotley via his new custom mech, so they can capture any T1 UEF Land Factories.
This is where the mission would start... With unauthorized personell detection, the Warden quickly activates many defense turrets and Mech Marines to quickly take care of the engineer, here Gavin and Sabrina have to defend Dredd while he captures a Land Factory. If successful the UEF land factory spits out squadrons of T1 Mech Marines thanks to an abundant amount of UEF resources. Together Dredd, Sabrina, Gavin, and the Mech Marine Assault Force head for the hangar bays via hit and run attacks. Soon the Warden decides to take care of the escapees himself by jumping in his very own UEF Sub Command Unit while also being reinforced by deadly T3 High End Energy Walkers. Standing no chance, Gavin scans his surroundings and discovers that the Warden and his deadly guards stood beneath a massive gate capable of crushing any machine. To activate it, a switch needed to be found and so Gavin dispatches his Mech Marines to patrol and find it. With success the Mech Marines stand on the winch and dispose of the Warden and his High End Energy Walkers. With all main objectives completed the only thing left here is to load the Armored Assault Transport by taking the Infantry Support Mechs, the engineer from the beginning, with a squadron of Mech Marines. Why? Well it's pretty simple you got to use them for the next mission...
This mission is a hit and run survival type mission utilizing your manueverability skills with certain units and patrols. This teaches the player that using these tactics can prove useful in future missions as well as skirmishes against your opponents.
If the mission is successful Gavin gains two allies: Sabrina as 2nd in command and Dredd Vakken who becomes a navigator and tracker for his new faction Gavin dubbs the Strato Cons. Together these three characters take the transport and enter an old quantum gateway which takes them to an ancient and forgotten scrap/trash moon. This moon is where Gavin decides to build his own custom army and so he becomes known as the Strato Lord with an ultimate objective: Destroy the Watchers and Shadow Byte.

Raids of Tyranny
The Scrap Moon Mission Intro and Plot Explaination As the UEF Armored Assault Transport exits the old Quantum Gate, many worlds are visible in this uncharted system of the galaxy. The only real reason to establish a quantum gate in this system, was to dump trash and destroyed war machines from the past battles which even dated back to the days of the Earth Empire on various moons. Gavin not only chooses the largest scrap moon due to the abundant amount of resources his new faction can utilize, but also because of ancient gantries capable of constructing the iconic Armored Command Units were hidden here as well. No, need for mass extractors because you got all the mass around you! Energy generation on the other hand is a different story. As the transport lands light UEF patrols are visible and are spread around the many crevices, canals and mountains of metal. Gavin decides to land, because a large quantum signature is located somewhere hidden amongst the great mountains of wreckage. All the UEF units you harnessed from the Labyrinth Complex are at your command including any T1 Mech Marines and if you protected Dredd's engineer, you have a small advantage because you can easily establish a mini outpost (land factory, energy generators, defense turrets, radar, etc.) which will definetly help you in your mission as the operation area expands.
Gavin suspects that the quantum signature is indeed what he is looking for. An ACU Gantry. The only way to get to it is to destroy all UEF patrols that get in your way, but this scarred scrap moon has some enviromental surprises of its own including electrified path ways emmitted from ancient conduit and corrosive robotic battery acid pools leaked from very old machines over a great amount of time. If you missed large maps from the original Supreme Commander this map contains it, but the enviroment is a very flexible and strategic tool utilized on this moon. It can be your buddy or it can be a complete pain in the ***. If you want to be hardcore at this mission a secret objective example would be to fly your UEF Armored Assault Transport with all its cargo to the waypoint without getting destroyed. Its risky but, that is why it would be secret (you will understand why this transport needs to survive later on in the mission). Well anyways you are in command of the UEF prototype infantry support mechs manned by Sabrina, Dredd and Gavin. They all must survive and reach the ACU gantry, because each of your team members carry crucial feats to make your Strato Con faction possible. If your forces succeed at destroying the patrols and avoiding the enviromental hazards Gavin immediatley jumps out of his mech and goes into the Ancient ACU Gantry along with Sabrina and Dredd. Together they are able to get the facility operational and all that is needed are parts to create Gavin's very own custom Armored Command Unit.
The Power of Scrap As the Gantry is operational, enough tools, equippment, and resources are available for Gavin to quickly build his all new Strato Con bipedal "Construction Bot". These all new engineers have the ability to construct the Land Factory, as well as Research Facilities, Mass Extractors, and Generators. Your objective is simply to build a base and produce an army. The only available land units are the land scout called "Rover V1" the T1 Light Assault Bot called "Scrap Drones" and the "Construction Bots". Sticking to land combat is the only option right about now because the Strato Cons do not have access to air support just yet. They do how ever have the ability construct defensive turrets and can also research upgrades to make their land assault force and patrols even stronger/efficient. As your force grows in number Gavin starts to begin his quest at finding the appropriate pieces of robotics required to make the ACU. Here the operation area expands again, and new UEF patrols are seen on radar the only thing you have to do is explore and look for 5 key pieces of machinery. A simple task, but do you remember the UEF armored assault transport you used to escape the Labyrinth Complex? Protecting it at all costs is key during the entire mission from the beginning, because there is only one and this transport is the tool required to load your ACU robotic parts to ferry to the Ancient Gantry.
A New Foe As you successfully continue to destroy the light UEF patrols in the canals and ravines and in conjuntion use your transport to recover at least 3 parts, a new foe appears on the horizon. Utilizing a custom ACU an Illuminate Bounty Hunter reveals himself as Tycho and he is quickly building up a base on the far side of the map. It is here where your operation expands one final time and new orders are given to eliminate this bounty hunter. Tycho notifies Gavin via transmission that he was sent to destroy him due to crimes committed (including jail break) on the Labyrinth Complex (in a non-cheesy matter). As you bulk up your army, Gavin gives the schematics to construct mobile anti-air units. These guys are called "Sky Skewer" and they are vicious little machines outfitted with accurate tracking projectiles. You must continue your campaign to find ACU parts while also defending Gavin's Ancient ACU Gantry from Tycho's attacks. As you gather the final pieces, Gavin commences construction of his ACU, it is here where you must press on and eliminate Tycho and his base.
If you are successful at destroying a major portion of Tycho's base Gavin reveals his menacing ACU for the first time and Tycho retreats by quickly loading upon a nearby Illuminate Armored Assault Transport. As he does this he warns Gavin that a massive price is held on his head and that many mercs and bounty hunters are descending and tracking him. Tycho reveals one such feared merc who goes by the name of Cleave and he leads a merc group known as "The Night Reign". As Tycho leaves the system via the Quantum Gate, Gavin becomes more relentless and quickly tries to come up with a plan that would make his new Strato Con faction even greater.
This mission would be designed to pull the player into an interesting plot line and origins of the Strato Cons and their models of ACUs, combat robots, and structures. New enviromental designs, hazards and physics would also be utilized to boggle the player's mind. To sum things up you are being persued by a new character known as Tycho, who openly admits that he isn't the only hunter on Gavin's trail and those other hunters are far more lethal...

Is this forum your tool with which to vent your ideas about new campaign missions? I keep wondering why you're not posting this in the fan fiction section though...

I am honored for such appreciation Falcrack and Prince, its just that since I typed all this information here already I seriously find the time to post everything in Fan Fiction a waste. But, since many people want this to happen I shall proceed...
If anyone is interested I tried to come up with some kick *** names for other characters in my "fictional" story line. One character is known as Admiral Siegton a rugged old and wise man. He is smart and strategic and makes many key decisions for the UEF/coalition forces (if you ever played Halo Wars remember that old general guy? He's supposed to be like him in a way, responsible, and kick ***). Other Characters would be Private Spike a young and new ACU commander with a standard naive "ooh-rah" personality, and Lynn who is a female solitary bounty hunter who utilizes a very light/custom feminine like ACU on the hunt for the Strato Lord/Gavin.

Raids of Tyranny: Different ACU's & Classes
Many people didn't really like Supreme Commander 2 and the story that was utilized in it (thats what I heard anyways) but, it still would have purpose in my fan fiction. Ivan Brackman seemed to be rising to power towards the end of the story and it looks as if he is "for" the coalition and an everlasting peace between all three factions. Every one knows this cannot possibly last and Colonel Rodgers proved that himself. In Supreme Commander 3: Raids of Tyranny the new events would take place about a few months later. Since so many coalition commanders belonging to all factions suffered major losses in terms of ACU pilots (you know Rodgers, Lynch, etc.) a new document was passed to recruit mercenaries. ACU's were completley repurposed and custom built to fit each merc and bounty hunter's needs.
Merc Command Unit (MCU) Merc command units make a deadly new edition to the Supreme Commander saga. Each is custom built from the ground up and they appear to come in all shapes and sizes. The whole reason to hire these new mercs was because the coalition did not want to risk losing any more commanders to their allies, etc. in other words it did not make any sense to kill your fellow team mates (Maddox killing a whole bunch of UEF commanders, etc). Having mercs duke it out against you would be fun do to the fact each one has a different personality and taste of weaponry. One such example would be a merc called "Locust" who earned his name for his "swarm tactics" dealing with early rush attacks with light and cheap assault units. In some instances mercs will betray each other to get the bounty they deserve, this also means you would have to fight more than one in a few occasions. It is also possible to team up with some of these guys in the game if you fufill certain objectives (if you join a merc different ending sequences of that mission could take place, the choice would be yours).
Sub Command Units (SACU) Adapted from the original Supreme Commander as well as Forged Alliance, these sub command units are much smaller and have less hitpoints compared to the standard ACU. The "Warden" of the Labyrinth Complex uilizes one of the sub command units to ensure order against the prisoners and Gavin, who relentlessly escapes. Sub Command Units take a while to construct and must be researched/purchased. If they were to be purchased numerous new economic upgrades would be possible for you as well as the ability to use them as suicide bots.
The Return of QAI and His New Weapon: The Quantum Command Unit This computer QAI would return into the 4th entry of the series only to surprise Dr. Gustaf Brackman with an all new devestating ACU class. Quantum Command Units are the new types to be encountered when it comes to facing the Seraphim Faction. Quantum Command Units are extremely powerful commanders and their weaponry shows a clear advancement since the events of Forged Alliance many years ago. QAI makes a return due to the fact his actual mainframe was never destroyed by Brackman at all. Instead the mainframe Brackman thought to be the one was a decoy, and the actual mainframe was moved out of the region to a secret seraphim stronghold under orders of a rumored individual known as the Seraphim Emperor. This stronghold is the place where the rest of the seraphim forces rallied outside the rift to ensure they would strike again in time not actually knowing a brand new enemy was lurking in the shadows for 1000+ years waiting patiently to release a new weapon of their own.

Raids of Tyranny: New Mission Concept Part 1 of 2
Junkyard Staunch Formulation Mission Introduction & Explaination After the events of locating ACU chassis and robotic parts while fighting a new opponent, Gavin begins to think of the deadly new enemies he must contend with to ensure the Watchers do not succeed in there ultimate goals. In this time period one year passes and many begin to wonder if the convict who escaped with two other prisoners was presumed dead. Gavin, instead went into hiding to further more build and research new components on his "scrap world". For many months many hunters from the farthest reaches of UEF, Illuminate, and Cybran territory were searching for their bounty, but Gavin remained silent and elusive. To gain intellegence on what was going on out in the galaxy Gavin the Strato Lord designed many new "Seeker Drones" that could hack into many mainstream waves of the media/military operations.
As for spying on these so called "Mercs", many new ACU's were easily seen as different from one another, some were normal size, others smaller, but one was way bigger and Gavin mistakend it for an experimental bipedal walker. All of the commanders used custom command units or what Gavin has heard, MCU's. All of them emerged from a massive space frigate capable of jumping from system to system via a massive drive core and a new element known as "Helium 3". It is only now that "Cleave" leader of the "Night Reign" mercenary team has found Gavin's base of operations and must fight to the death against this terrifying new threat.
The Setup Dredd Vakken remains as the man who feeds the layout of information on the field of battle. This region of the "Scrap Moon" is much different and yet the moon itself poses as threat to your forces as well as Cleave's. In this mission you would play as Gavin's 2nd in command known as Sabrina and already you would start out with a simple base. Also to make things worse, Cleave is not alone and has a buddy to keep you occupied while he amasses his task force. "Reaver" commands a Cybran ACU designed from the original Supreme Commander game and is already sending out a light patrol force towards your base. Here you must build "Tech Lv. 1 Infantry Tracking Turrets" and research an ability for this turret called "Incline Adaption". Since, your base is enclosed in a valley of scrap, there would be a natural choke point for you to decimate Reaver's attack force. The choke point is surrounded by steep walls of steel and scrap, and Dredd insists you use the new research upgrade of your turrets to stick to the vertical walls (this means your land turrets have much greater use and enviromental flexibility). The Construction Bots Gavin designed a year back now come equipped with grapple cables and can easily get to high spots that normal engineers could not, so building turrets too high is not a problem.
WARNING! As you gradually build up your base and produce Mass and Energy a warning blip would appear on your game screen. It is here where Cleave tells you that he is building an experimental artillery weapon known as the "Noah Artillery Foundation" (the original Noah Unit Cannon, but would be better). Since you cannot reach Cleave yet, you are basically toast, unless you can conjure up new strategies and pinpoint where he's gonna fire that thing. Cleave strengthens Reaver's land forces with a touch of Tech Lv. 2 UEF MA12 Rockhead Tanks in conjunction with Reavers Tech Lv. 1 Hunter bots. With a simple thanks from Reaver and threat to you that you will eat **** and die, Sabrina presses on with creating Vex and Scrap Drones as well as new Tech Lv. 2 assault units.
As you make your way towards Reaver and his base, Reaver sets up an ambush utilizing the many different types of units found in the Scrap Moon's enviroment. Captured decommissioned and rusted old naval war ships become operational, and it is your duty to destroy these boats stuck in the mountains of scrap. Since they are fixed targets, artillery can easily blow them away, but do not take these war ships lightly, as they were original and have never been seen before. As you study the terrain on the map you notice that the many vallies in between the boats are marshlands and pose as a speed declination to your assault force meaning that all bipedal robots and assault tanks move much slower through shallow water. Reaver new of this, and so captured the warships and used them as artillery foundations to combat an early attack force. Building the new tactical missile launching bot known as "Shadow Matter" is the best unit at destroying fixed targets and so Dredd transmits to you schematics to build it.
The Scathe of Reaver As you destroy the fixed warships, Dredd tells Sabrina to capture one of those warships for themselves to backwards engineer and study it. If successful the Strato Cons will have the power of a navy in the near future. As for Reaver, you must press on with your land assault force and destroy his many defenses in his mid-sized outpost. He is resiliant at defending his factories and if you do not destroy him quick enough he will use his engineers to capture your units and rebuild any lost structures. As a back up plan Reaver deploys the all new Tech Lv. 2 "Evolvable Cybran Artillery Walker". It goes by the name of "Scathis" and is a much smaller, more manueverable version of the experimental one found in the original Supreme Commander. It can quickly mop up any attack force and to make things worse Reaver has an entire horde of them backed up by Hunters, Tech Lv.3 Loyalists and other deadly assault Units.
New Concept Encounter Note As you encounter the Tech Lv. 2 Scathis Mobile Artillery, you notice that it was much bigger and fearsome then the other standard Tech Lv. 1 Mortar version that Reaver sends to harass you in the beginning of the mission. Every Artillery unit has been repurposed and now can evolve with new nano artillery battle chassis and weaponry. It just so happens that the Cybran have turned there experimental from the "Infinite war" in to a more versatile and manueverable combat unit, although it can overheat. Rapid fire disruption mortars are a must for the Cybran and can easily destroy any force when in tight groups (a strategy favored by Reaver).
It is wise to conduct "RAIDS" against this very large attack force if the so happen to wipe out yours. If you fail they head down through the vallies and canals all the way to the choke point in front of your base. Your Infantry Tracking Turrets stand no chance, so Dredd sends you the schematics to construct air units. The only one available is the Tech Lv. 2 Armored Gunship called "Side Swipe". Assisting your factories is key here because you are working against the clock to amass Gunships and Land Units. Once you do build a good quantity of gunships, all of Reaver's forces will be decimated as they do not have many "Adaptors" (from Supreme Commander 2). Using the same gunships in conjunction with your land units Reaver's base stands very little of a chance. Afterwards Reaver is scathed and explodes into a 3D nuclear crater. The Nuke emmitted from Reaver destroys all units around him and can even push back the scrap mountains/rubble, disrupting the enviroment via the shear force of the blast, this would again show you the all new advanced physics of the game. Oh yeah, and all that scrap is reclaimable...
Cleave's mercenary buddy Reaver is no more, but that does not stop him from claiming his bounty. Pissed, Cleave will use his Noah Artillery Installation more aggressivley to conduct annoying raids himself. He is aware of your airforce and your ability to construct airplanes, and so prepares himself for an air raid. If you thought this mission was interesting, it only gets better because something is coming that both Cleave and Sabrina were not prepared for...

this is incredible, I hope GPG seriously considers this! a very well thought out idea, supcom FA style maps, better physics, a better storyline, and supcom 2 upgrades, incredible! Chris Taylor should combine all units from TA, Supcom FA and the Pirate's units into one game... combine the campaigns of all of them , add new physics, keep the supcom 2 upgrade system, and call it.. SupCom 3... that would be brilliant! very nice!

Raids of Tyranny:New Mission Concept Part 2 of 2
Junkyard Staunch Formulation Mission Con't: Cleave's Turn... With the death of Reaver as well as your task force, Reaver's original base of operations is there for the taking. Your mass sky rockets due to the fact so much of it is everywhere, and energy was never really that hard to get in the first place. Knowing this, Cleave's next strategy is to flank your base. How? By using not one but two Noah Artillery Foundations. If you waste even more time he tells you that he will "reign hell upon you" and this is no joke because a third Noah Artillery will commence building as well! Cleave will constantly send out UEF air scouts to seek your resource building placements and it is led to believe most Supreme Commander players would hide their Tech Lv. 3 Reactors in the back. Cleave is smart and knows the weakness of any "Supreme Commander" which is your resource income. Without it you are pretty much dead. To wrap things up Cleave constantly send waves of land units towards your base, this is why it would be wise to build a stronghold in Reaver's old base.
As the operation area expands, Cleave's massive base is visible and out in the distance behind his base is the massive frigate that brought his "Night Reign" mercenary team to the scrap moon. That frigate has enough fuel to travel the cosmos and Gavin's new plan is to steal and escape into the farthest/unknown regions of space to gather more abundant intel as well as people. To get to the frigate requires you to destroy Cleave and his base. There is a lot of open ground as well as fissures in the terrain that pose a threat to your army. So, having the ability to use unit formations correctly is a good tactic here if you are commanding many forces. To make things worse it starts to rain meaning that a monsoon is coming. This so called "Scrap Moon" enters its own seasonal phases and Sabrina is informed by Dredd that she does not have much time. Cleave on the other hand is not worried about the rain as he sees it as just a regular old storm.
Tears of the Moon With not much time you must destroy Cleave and end your mission. To help, you get access to a "Prototype Machine" (minor experimental) known as the "Siege Jaguar". This new unit uses an experimental hydraulic and movement system, and is the fastest experimental in the game, but it also has the least amount of hitpoints. It is modeld after the Jaguar back on Earth and is also very good for recon missions and base harrassment, it also has a spring/jump mechanism giving it the ability to "island hop" to the enemy. As the canals start to slowly fill with water you can see certain peices of scrap start to move and float down stream. The operation area expands once again to reveal high ground for Sabrina and her engineers to build a new base. Building a navy is not yet possible, so the only way you can prevail is with your new Siege Jaguar, Artillery Installations and an airforce preferably your Side Swipe gunships.
Cleave is not so lucky, and loses many base defenses because he built them in the vallies and canals around his base. Taking a positive approach Cleave still uses his Noah Artillery Installations to harass your new base, but he also decides to start building a naval shipyard to help further his succession in claiming his bounty. As you research and beef up your new base you must amass quantities of gunships and go in for the kill. Alongside with your airforce having a Siege Jaguar or two could really help with your chances of killing Cleave as they can island hop at a good speed. When you do reach Cleave's base many UEF buildings are heavily guarded with all sorts of land units, swarming is key here and once you succeed Cleave will reveal his MCU (Cleave's MCU uses heavy mercury core rounds as a land attack weapon and he also has many AA gun emplacements on his MCU's chassis) massive in size his MCU does not go down as easily as others have in the past.
Thunder and Helium As Cleave's MCU implodes into a massive never before seen detonation everything around is vaporized and the Cleave's Crater is quickly flooded (or healed in a sense) by the monsoon. Sabrina's mission is met with success and it seems the rest of Cleave's Night Reign mercenaries evacuated before the detonation of their commander. Puzzled, Sabrina heads for Cleave's massive space frigate. Suddenly on the horizon aboard Strato Con Armored Assault Transports comes Dredd Vakken and Gavin himself all in their very own custom ACU's. Quickly getting aboard, the frigate controls are easily calibrated and the trio of Strato Con Commanders leave the Scrap Moon once and for all to find a new home, but in order to do this Dredd tells Gavin of a secret UEF Military Colony that was actually destroyed by an unknown weapon they were supposovely testing, securing this intel and technology could prove useful and so Dredd inputs the new coordinates.
As the massive space frigate takes off the moon a small pod is deployed upon the hull of the ship. Aboard is Cleave, who quickly escaped before his MCU went nuclear...
This mission would be designed as an example of the shear strategy your opponents will utilize in the 4th installment of the Supreme Commander games, you must battle natural disasters including weather anomalies which your upgraded radar installations can detect ahead of time to prepare yourself. Again advanced game physics will be utilized, as well as the ability to play as different characters belonging to all factions. Each commander alone has a new custom look, and gives a unique sense of character to the commander. To sum things up Cleave is aboard your ship and where ever your Strato Cons go Cleave follows...

Raids of Tyranny: New Mission Concept Part 1 of 2Secrets of the Federation Intro and Explanation With the help of Sabrina and Dredd, Gavin's lieutenants successfully destroy Cleave and his merc buddy Reaver. By stealing Cleave's massive space frigate powered by a new element and as well as a new drive core, searching the known galaxy for a suitable and uncolonized planet abundant in new resources does not come by that easy. The forgotten scrap moon yielded in great technological steps for Gavin's new Strato Con faction, but since to many mercs and hunters knew of the location leaving was the only option, and with the power of gunships, scrap drones, and his experimental siege jaguar that no one has really seen, unleashing them would be a great surprise in the galaxy. To get a some sort of heading, Dredd Vakken explains about a UEF military colony testing new weapons and technology. This classified information was only one reason he was locked away in the Labyrinth Prison Complex in the first place. Dredd also explains that many shadowed military UEF bases were possibly experimenting with seraphim technology back from the great war/invasion of humanity twenty-seven years ago.
Using Cleave's Merc Frigate, Gavin heads for Dredd's coordinates and appears into a UEF controlled system. The world Dredd points out is the martian like world filled with all kinds of terrain, and other visible topograhic features. Gavin decides to take matters into his own hands and tells Sabrina and Dredd that he wants to "investigate" this colony for himself. Sabrina is unsure, but complies with the Strato Lord. Dredd and Sabrina land Cleave's Frigate miles from the colony and soon take off into orbit, making sure they feed intel to gavin every step of the way. As Gavin gets a feel for the battlefield, lots of open ground is visible and the colony lies in the distance, suddenly a transmission enters Gavins com and a commander known as "Captain Clyde" appears.
The Colony's Guardian Captain Clyde introduces himself to Gavin and already Clyde has a bad feeling of his true intentions. He asks how such a menacing ACU was created, but like always, every commander stays anonymous with their true origins. Sensing a major assault from this unknown opponent, Captain Clyde starts to build up an army in his base deep in the rocky martian landscape. Dredd and Sabrina state some intel about the battlefield and whats new about this mission is building "Mass Extractors". On the scrap moon no such structure was needed due to the fact so much metal and resources was all around you, virtually creating an unlimited supply of this crucial resource. There is a catch and new feature to this red and rusty landscape and this is that not all mass deposits are "visible". I like to call this "Etched Deposits", because you will need to use your radar installations as well as new upgrades for this structure to detect "metallic readings" of this ore. Dredd and Sabrina inform you of this and Captain Clyde himself is unaware of the hidden deposits himself.
Clyde tries to communicate with his new opponent and wonders how he found this secret UEF military colony, but Gavin again does not respond easily to give away all his intel. With a sense of rage, Clyde sends an all out attack on your base from multiple directions using Tech Lv. 1 Mech Marines, whats new about these little swarming machines is that they have an upgrade utilizing "Jet Thrusters" and can traverse/jump up to three times over rocky terrain and wreckage before overheating. Anti-air turrets and mobile machines can shoot these guys to an extent, but again they do not jump as high as aircraft do, so building your Tech Lv. 1 "Infantry Tracking Turrets" is your best option at base defense from an early rush of the Marines. All T1 Light Infantry Bots (including the "rocket class version" love to be used in tight packs, meaning they all can form to create squadrons. This is a new ability, because the all new Tech Lv. 2 "Infantry Support Mechs" can be a mini captain kind of unit to better help increase the light assault bot combat efficencies (like Elites and Grunts from the Halo series).
Old Mech Marine Concept used by Captain Clyde? http://pc.gamespy.com/dor/objects/75528 ... 44705.html
Spires of the Martian World An important aspect of every mission in Supreme Commander is to scout all the terrain around you, and when Gavin builds his Tech Lv.1 "Rover V1's" he comes across large open ground and soon very tall martian spires. These very tall rock formations give a sense of scale to the enviroment and Gavin thinks it would stage as a very tactical and strategic outpost to further expand his resource collecting. What is even better is that these spires make good defensive/enviromental cover for your structures and turrets, as a bonus Dredd and Sabrina send the schematics to Gavin of the all new wall sections called "Dragon's Teeth". If Gavin constructs a new base in the vallley of spires, Clyde issues some patrols around the valley to harass you and your construction bots. As the operation area expands, more mass deposits are visible as well as three new outposts Clyde issued construction on.
Each outpost contains different key aspects that strengthen Clyde's forces. One outpost contains all land production, while the other two outpost have air factories, and resource farms. Clyde is a big fan of "adjacent bonuses", which makes him vulnerable to artillery strikes and other long rage weaponry. By destroying these outposts Clyde's resource production as well as land and air assaults will be severly crippled. As you scout some more to find these outposts, while destroying UEF patrols you soon find out each outpost lies upon natrual rock formations known as plateus. Knowing now, that only air and artillery can attack Clyde's outposts, Dredd sends a new schematic of a unique Tech Lv. 2 assault unit known as the "Grapple Crippler". With the power of this deadly bipedal machine the Grapple Crippler comes equipped with a cable gun which must be researched in order to use the ability. The Grapple Launcher enables the Crippler to scale large mountainous terrain with ease. This robot also has the power to become amphibious, which is useful at taking out one outpost on the plateau because you discover that one is a water filled extinct volcano just like "Crater Lake" back on Earth, and in the middle of the lake is the resource production farm. Since Clyde's resources are in the middle of the volcanic lake Clyde's engineers have already begun to spew out an all new ship called the "Crusader" which is the new UEF Destroy class, to make things worse there are many anti air defenses on the lake as well as on the island, thus making the Side Swipe Gunships useless.
With new schematics downloaded as well as new abilities and upgrades, the Strato Lord commences the attack upon Clyde's three outposts. Guarding each one has a different form of defense to give Clyde a tactical strategy over his opponent's assault forces. Clyde's new tactic to destroy Gavin is to conduct an air assault, but Clyde's going to make it better by sending in some new UEF land units as well, to divert the players attention.

Raids of Tyranny: New Mission Concept Part 2 of 2Secrets of the Federation Tactics of the Strato Lord While expanding your base Dredd informs you that all structures can get individual upgrades of their own, and if you research them they can further more strengthen your base. Some upgrades need certain adjacent bonus requirements. Dredd insists that you upgrade your factory add-ons by building four Tech Lv. 1 power generators on two sides of the structure. If you do this you must then create four Tech Lv. 1 Mass Fabricators adjacent to one side of the factory as well. After the above requirements are complete, you can upgrade the factory to build an "Anti-Armor Turret Installation". This structure attachment uses an all new ammo system and has limited rounds (super heated slugs) that can be manually built from the factory. Dredd says the research is expensive, but well worth the cost, because Clyde is sending in mass hordes of units backed up by a sub command unit as a suicidal walker!
One of Clydes tank patrols? http://pc.gamespy.com/dor/objects/75528 ... 02077.html
Multi-tasking here is important because it is possible for the player to be invading all outposts while also trying to defend your own outpost in the valley of spires. Your Dragons Teeth can hold Clyde's forces to an extent, but they will not hold out for long against his army. Your Infantry Tracking Turrets with the Incline Adaption upgrade are useful here if you build them along the sides of the Spires, confusing Clydes forces, but even they will eventually be destroyed. Building everything you can while each factory is assisted by Construction Bots, your Grapple Crippler invading force at the Volcanic Outpost should be destroying everything in sight. As you successfully take down all three outposts and defend your base using Siege Jaguars, Gunships, Scrap Drones, etc. Clyde releases a hidden anomally from the extinct volcano base. An all new UEF experimental rises out of the water from underneath the island and it is a hybrid tank walker armed with four artillery turrets and an integral factory quickly spewing out new amphibous Tech Lv. 2 hover tanks known as "Anocondas" to destroy your Grapple Cripplers.
A New Machine Clyde admits the UEF have been trying to reconfigure their "Fatboy" experimental tanks for the past couple of years and now they came up with a deadly new unit known as the "HexHead Walker". This new unit can shell incoming forces while also transforming into an armored variant tank that can resist more firepower while also building units. To make it faster the HexHead Walker can transform back to bipedal mode to walk around while sacrificing the ability to create units. While battling Gavin since the beginning, Clyde was upgrading the HexHead Walkers the whole time, because all protoypes and experimentals come with their very own upgrades. As your Grapple Cripplers fall the HexHead Walker and it's Anoconda force head for a massive Tech Lv. 4 Cargo Assault Transport. Each unit is held tight via clamps and the HexHead Walker transforms into the tank variant to be loaded up via a magnetic giga clamp. Afterwards, the Cargo Transport heads to the first base you made in the beginning of the mission. You must defend Gavin at all costs and destroy the massive HexHead Walker and all the Anocondas, if successful the HexHead Walker implodes and massive chunks of tank treads, artillery barrels, arms, and other scraps fly into the air landing in different places on the terrain. You must be weary of the explosion, because even the massive robotic parts can destroy small units and buildings due to the shear size and weight of the part.
Clyde's Revelation As you successfully defend both your bases from the forces of Clyde, the operation area expands revealing his main base. Clyde is tucked away, and sending everything you got at him is a must. Dredd sends the schematics to create two aircraft classes that seemed to be delayed since the defense against Cleave, and those are the Tech Lv.1 Multi Purpose Fighters and the Tech Lv. 1 Armored Assault Bombers. You must process through the martian landscape with a mixed bag of units including Sky Skewer AA Robots, Vex Drones, Gunships, Siege Jaguars, Shadow Matter Tactical Missile Bots etc. The schematics for the all new "Zero" class multi purpose fighter and "Impactor" class armored assault bomber will come in handy as a good diversion to harass Clyde, but he still has a trick up his sleeve. Knowing that he is not fighting an ordinary opponent Clyde guesses that Gavin wants answers on how a good portion of the UEF colony was destroyed in the first place.
Clyde openly admits that the HexHead experimentals were not the cause, and instead states he was the one, due to the fact he was experimental himself. Clydes ACU uses an experimental overcharge weapon never seen by any other faction or commander. It uses hybrid quantum projectiles fused with guass accelerant projectiles backwards engineered off of Seraphim Technology! Clyde also states that no other UEF commander is as powerful as he is. While you destroy Clyde's base, the operation area expands and Clyde heads towards your invading party backed up by a HexHead Walker and a new assault force. Destroying Clyde and his task force is the only option and if successful Clyde explodes destroying everything on screen, leaving a crater and a melted HexHead walker on the martian terrain.
The mission is met with success and so Gavin continues towards the base to find answers on the schematics to Clyde's secret weapon. Knowing that Clyde was some sort of terrorist or captain under orders, securing any civilians and scientists is a good decision due to the fact he saved them. The schematics were indeed created on this secret UEF military colony and so the Strato Lord rounds everyone aboard the Merc Frigate piloted by Sabrina and Dredd. Gavin promises his new colony of followers he is setting off to find a new hidden homeworld away from all core factions, and with such a young allegiance (a fresh start) everyone complies.
Captain Clyde's strategic tactics did not hold up against the new faction of Strato Cons as well as Gavin, and with new scientists to help him build the all new overcharge weapon, his ACU will be unmatched against others. The only thing left is to find a suitable homeworld preferablly one abundant in resources. This new mission teaches the player to conduct strategies that require much use of multi tasking as well as base upgrading and research. With each mission the Strato Cons gain new units to use against their advesaries. To conclude things Gavin discovers the UEF are evolving in technology and the HexHead Walker was clear proof that they are not sharing certain intel with the rest of the coalition.
