Hello, Things went much smoother than I had planned and we are now back up and running! Please use this thread to report any issues/comments. Fixes1. New (by popular demand) black bordered forums! (no, the brushed metal won't change) 2. At the top-right of the board index there are now links for "unanswered/unread/new/my posts" 3. Memberlist can now be found at the bottom of the board index next to "delete all board cookies" and "team" links 4. New forum banners are up (still looking for an off-topic one, this thread for more info. 5. A few graphical fixes 6. PMs should be alerting correctly now. 7. The database should now support FULLTEXT indexing allowing older posts to be searched correctly. (The indexing is still going on so this may be flaky for the next few hours) 8. Users browsing a particular forums can now be found back at the top of the page. (looks like there is a spacing issue though) Known Issues1. Performance: database is working overtime indexing all the posts so you may see some performance hits. 2. Resized images are still showing green block in upper left corner. 3. Still no new art for online/offline images. (this will be updated as more are discovered) gpgITninja

Question, will we forever have that stupid blank text that follows every post? For instance, after I post this, there will be like three tabs worth of spaces on a new line after the last sentence. I know it was in the previous version, but it's just so much more noticeable for some reason in this new version. On a different note, this new version is so shiny... Much different than the darker version. Oh, and we get to see if posts have been made in the time it took to type messages (it just happened to me)? Sweet.

I'm not sure exactly what blank area you are talking about... _PINK wrote: IT BURNS MY EYES WANT BLACK =( ??

Though that might simply be a ton of underlined blank text meant to separate the sections, in which case, I understand, but I still find it annoying. Oh, and I sort of agree with Pink, I prefer the darker background, and not the new shiny metallic one.

It isn't that important, so if you don't have to waste time looking for a fix, don't bother trying to "fix" it. I'd rather you did more important things than look into something so trivial. In other news, we can post up to 60,000 characters per post? Was that the previous limit (but not actively displayed)? Also, I swear I'm going to hit that report button by accident one day...

that's what my index looks like. You've got a bunch of images blocked. There are game specific images in those grey boxes.

that's what my index looks like. I've had a few reports of this, looks like it might be a caching issue or something? I'm looking into it. Solar wrote: In other news, we can post up to 60,000 characters per post? Was that the previous limit (but not actively displayed)?
Not sure what it was before, it will most likely be changed at some point though, 60k is a bit much...

The forum doesn't seem to log me in automatically on each visit despite the box being checked on the log-in page.
Also, how do you set the forum time? It's not working in my time zone when it used to in the old forum.

I don't have any blocking plugins enabled. I can turn ABP on to remove the grey-space, but it's not a fault on my end.
[EDIT: ninja'ed by ninja] thanks.
also, could you possibly change the tab size in the [cod]e] blocks to four (up from three)? standard tab size is four spaces.

sigh i share the problem in chrome. just random blank areas all over the page. very annoying :/ and the metallic is an fashion don't the border surrounding the "NEW FORUMS" box at the top looks kind of pink. IT ALL HURTS MY EYES And what's with the buttons having black backgrounds at the top, and silver [the go] and some lighter shade of grey [the home, games, company, etc] at the bottom. At least its easier for me to know when people are online now. (ssssh!)
