The tweakers.net forum has a series of World of Warcraft topic (along with series of various other games but this one is the biggest) which is at part 261 now. The previous 260 parts have about 42 pages on average (probably more though). Each page is 25 (or 30) posts long, so the total number of posts is 273.000 posts long.
Comes nicely close to the dubsteb thread.

Some dubstep is good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6pUvGQs ... ure=relmfu . I like soft-er stuff like this made by people that have rhythm, unlike Skrillex. (I actually think Wolfinator introduced me to Haywyre awhile back on some random thread, so thank you for that.)

As I just noticed--this is total posts, not pages. Still, the below list is pretty damn impressive.
~18900 posts But wait! That's not all! The "What Album Should I Start With?" thread has 16700 posts There's a 2000 post "Hardcore Jazz" thread, which might just be hardcore fans of jazz. I'll investigate later 28500 posts of metal A 25000 post thread about judging people based on their most recently acquired music 3000 posts of glo-fi 1300 posts of classical Ok, let's go to offtopic. Why not? Quote: "The band game" Here's how it works, you get 2 vote for subtracting, and 2 votes for adding. You take 2 tallys away from a band and add 2 tallys to another band. The last band remaining wins. No consecutive voting. If you are the one to eliminate a band, delete the entire line for the band, leaving only the remaining bands. Huh. That's interesting. How long is it? 72,000 posts. A Q/A thread you say? 48,000 posts 10,500 posts of facebook statuses 7000 posts of pictures, with each one approximately related to the one before it (normally) And finally, perhaps this last one will provide some insight: A thread of people's pictures of themselves. 32,000 posts.

Ok, I went to the largest tech forum in the Netherlands and I found out that the total number of posts is 23.031.399. The forum does exist for a pretty long time though, but it still is an amazing achievement.
