Ok forgive my redundance, I had SupCom downloaded through gamersgate, and didn't like the way I had to be connected to the
internet to play, and I could not install patches for all the mods I
had added. Reds, Hawks, Totalmayhem, and Exaviars. I uninstalled
all of that and just bought the DVD so I could run it better. Now I
get the error wrong disk, and the version is 1.0.0.1 so none of the
patches are recognizing the SupCom.exe file. Anyone else have this
problem? I don't see a search anywhere in this forum. Looked in
bing and google ready to fall asleep from the frustration. Crap now I see the search after I posted.

Just upgrad to the latest version.

Alright so here is what I had to do:

1. Uninstall everything with steam.
2. Remove all the folders and directories C:\users\whateveryourcompsname\AppData\Local\GasPoweredGames
3. Reinstall SupCom.
4. install updates all the way to 1.1.3280
5. Move: Reds unit pack, Mines Mod, Mass Fab, ShieldGun, Siege Walls, T4 engineers, TotalMayhem, UNITMOD21 to mod folder, "ExaviarsMod, and HawksMod" to the data folder.
6. Add the extra maps to maps folder.
7.Last but not least add the 01 sorian ai merge scd file.

This game is awesome with these mods.
Having the disk is way better than downloading
because I have control, not Steam.
I ordered FA sealed is inexpensive game,
and cant wait to try Hawks mod for that
one, along with extreme wars.
