I have two issues with SC which happen quite frequently, and I wanted to know if this happens to anyone else.

first, the game sometimes completely stalls. Everything is non responsive, and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to end the process

second, the game quite frequently iconifies, and I am returned to the Desktop. This happens once every hour.

Maybe you should reinstall SC.By the way ,you've installed the latest SupCom patch?Maybe it will help.

I assume this is SC vanilla and not fa.

As for teh crashing what os do you have and how much ram. Most 32 bit games have a 2gb ram limit and if they hit that limit they will stop working.

And do if you are in win 7 or vista try running the supcom exe in compatibility
and choose xp service pack 3 and also run as admin. this might help.

The thing is, it happens to at least two computers I have the game installed on. Not too sure about the patch, I'll check it out wen I boot into windows. One thing, I am on FA not vanilla.

Should of said FA instead of SC at the beginning then.

Properly Resintalling, then installing the latest, and official FA Patch might solve the issue. But what Do I know? (Legion Darrath/OrangeKnight would say "Which is next to nothing.") Im just a simple Modder.
