Official Game Critics Award E3 2006: Best Strategy Game
"Chris Taylor enjoys his role as the comedian of the game industry. But underneath that facade is a hardcore real-time strategy gamer. With Supreme Commander for THQ, Taylor's Gas Powered Games is out to show that the RTS genre still has much to offer gamers. The vision for Supreme Commander is to create a game that has the scale and scope for huge battles fought by vast armies with futuristic weaponry." |

Gamespot: Best Strategy Game E3 2006
"The sheer size is so audacious it's exhilarating, but you also get you a feeling that it's also long overdue. For too long, real-time strategy games have taken place in small sandboxes that don't give you any room to maneuver. With Supreme Commander you have battlefields that are 50 miles across, which should give your inner Patton plenty of room to play with." |

Voodoo Extreme: Best Strategy Game E3 2006
"Speaking of spiritual successors, Chris Taylor has a new game Total Annihilation fans are going to love - Supreme Commander. It might not have the best graphics, but it had the best sense of scale offering up truly epic sci-fi battles on a grandiose level. When you build a really expensive super unit, you know where your money went as you watch it lumber across the screen." |

GameSpy: Best Strategy Game E3 2006l
"There have been some good real-time strategy games in the past few years, but as good as they are, they seem to be drawing upon the same type of formula: cookie-cutter units for all sides, fixed map views, heavy resource management and maybe an above average story. Strategy has been taken out in favor of the rush and the porcupine. Supreme Commander looks to break this tired mold by building on the original success of Total Annihilation, with battles
on a massive scale." |

PC.IGN Best Graphics of 2002 Award
Best of 2002 Awards
"To paraphrase Elvis Costello, 'Talking about graphics is like dancing about architecture.' More than any other aspect of game design, graphics quality is something instantly apparent to even the most casual players. As such, it's harder to say why we like this one than it is to show. Nevertheless, the world of Dungeon Siege seems truly alive at times with breathtaking environments, a sensible camera and wonderful models. On top of that all, the lack of load points creates a seamless world where all of these assets exist together." |

PC Gamer Editors' Choice Award
June 2002 Issue
"...Dungeon Siege is an amazing thrill ride, filled with a huge cast of gnarly-looking and impressively animated monsters and environments. It kept me engaged right through to the end (25 hours for me and up to 50 hours for you, depending on how you play and how much you explore), and I'm ready to dive right back in!" |

Computer Games Editors' Choice Award
June 2002 Issue
"...it's a true next-generation technological evolution of the genre with gameplay refined to near-pefection...Does everything Diablo and its sequel does, strips out the less fun parts, buffs up the good bits, and polishes it to a shine not seen since, well, the original Diablo." |

FiringSquad Editors' Choice Award
April 24, 2002
"Who would I recommend Dungeon Siege to? If you liked Diablo II (and several million people do), you'll really like Dungeon Siege. I think it's better than Diablo II by a long shot. The action is better since you can travel with eight characters. The fighting is more tactical since your characters have so many attack options. The pack mule really helps you manage your money and equipment. The graphics are truly 3D with a fantastic art style.
"If you're an RTS/Tactical gamer, you'll probably like Dungeon Siege as well. There's a huge tactical element in fighting with a group of eight. Even if you're not into RPGs, Dungeon Siege is a good place to start. This is a game I'd give to a friend that's never tried PC gaming before; it's that good." |

April 15, 2002
"It's not often we come across a game that throws the technology rulebook out of the window and breaks new ground."
"Dungeon Siege is a technological triumph and one of the most enjoyable games we have played in a long time, and if you like your RPGs to place more emphasis on action and combat than stats, there is currently no better choice on the market...If you've ever dreamed of playing Diablo II in full 3D with vastly improved graphics and presentation, you will find Dungeon Siege an absolute joy to play." |

"To sum up, I have just had one of the most enjoyable weeks in gaming for a long time. Dungeon Siege is just a superb, great looking romp in an interesting and diverse RPG world...Hats off to Chris Taylor and the rest of the development team this is one fantastic RPG you just can't be without." |

GameZone Editors' Choice
April 9, 2002
"This is a joyful game to look at, and addictive to play. This game may not have the catchiest name in the realm, and its title may be indicative of what it presents, but when it comes to RPGs, this is one game that holds its own against all of the competition. It will rob players of time (as in, time will pass so quickly you may pull an all-nighter or two without realizing time is slipping past so quickly) and reward with an action-packed jaunt through an amazingly rendered land." |

ZenGamer Must Buy Award
April 9, 2002
"I honestly believe that Dungeon Siege will do the same for the action-rpg genre that Diablo did when it was first introduced. There are so many ideas, tweaks, functions, and improvements in Dungeon Siege that I can't imagine us ever going back, perhaps the biggest of which is its seamless 3D world. I firmly believe that Dungeon Siege is now the game that future releases in this genre should be measured against. If you are looking for total addiction to killing thousands of monsters in a beautiful world, you will not be disappointed in this one. Just don't think the story is what will keep you going."

Gamers Depot Drool Award
April 8, 2002
"Dungeon Siege is one of two games released this year, that I've played, which give me a glimmer of hope that PC games are getting better. It does break new ground in many areas, including having the first true 3D world in an RPG and having zero load times. It's quite obvious that the time Gas Powered Games spent working Dungeon Siege was well-spent and I can't wait to see what they have in store next. If you're a fan of RPG's you owe it to yourself to play this game, and if you're not, it's a great time to catch the RPG bug by getting one of the best RPG's to ever hit the PC platform." |

Action Trip Editors' Choice
April 8, 2002
"When it all comes down to it, this is the game Diablo II should have been. Hundreds of thousands of people line up on Battle.Net daily to do battle with Diablo and his minions, with the game still ranking high in sales every quarter. Lemme tell ya folks, Dungeon Siege puts it to shame. It is a better game than D2 in almost every aspect (save the audio - D2's audio isn't anything to write home about either), and is well worth every penny spent. If you even remotely liked Diablo II in any way, shape, or form, you will love Dungeon Siege." |

PC.IGN.com Editors' Choice
April 4, 2002
"It really comes down to the details I suppose. And there are a lot of details. There's the brilliant textures for all objects in the game, there's the bugs and animals running around the levels not bothering anyone, there's the debris and other random objects populating the world at random, the fire on the sword, the way your pack mule shakes its head when sitting around, the way the pack on the mule's back grows as you give him more to carry... I haven't seen a game this fleshed out and full of objects ever." |

June 27, 2001
"First revealed at E3 2000, Dungeon Siege has steadily progressed toward its intended release date in the fall of 2001. At E3 2001, it already looked polished and fun to play, and it had all the environments and characters from the game built into it and ready to go." |

Best RPG of E3 Runner Up from GameSpy
June 18, 2001
"Your character improves their melee, ranged and spell attacks based on use, so becomes tailored to how you like to play the game. The elegant interface stresses useability and simplicity, like the clever, real-time area map. Multiplayer games and an editor to make your own dungeons round out what this exciting game offers." |

| Best RPG of E3 from XGR
June 18, 2001
"Dungeon Siege and Neverwinter Nights were so close it was hard choosing one over the other. Both titles sport some serious graphics and and gameplay but I was just slightly more impressed with Dungeon Siege's load times (there are like NONE) and the fluidity of the game." |

GameSpot Best of E3
May 30, 2000
"Dungeon Siege features many innovative elements, but perhaps the most remarkable is its complete lack of load times. The real-time role-playing game operates in a continuous 3D fantasy world, allowing seamless transitions between above- and below-ground adventuring. You can control up to ten different characters who can travel independently to any part of the world. You can then switch back and forth between party members' locations at will. The game also features pack animals, hired helpers, partial potion drinking, full-screen-sized monsters, and a number of other interesting features." |

Best of RPG/Action of E3 from Gamers Depot
May 17, 2000
"Being developed by Chris mf'n Taylor, Dungeon Siege is one of my personal favorites, and wins our Best RPG/Action game of this years E3. Breaking the mold of the typical "hack and slash" type games like Diablo, Dungeon Seige promises to take action/rpg gaming to new heights. Gas Powered Games is the developer, and they don't look to be pulling any punches with this winner!" |

GameSlice Top Seven Games of E3
May 25, 2000
"It's been a long time since I saw a RPG on the PC and said, 'Wow, this looks great!' But that's exactly what happened when I sat in on a demo of the new RPG Dungeon Siege from Gas Powered Games and designer Chris Taylor. It seems that RPGs on the PC have always been relegated to having poor graphic engines, the requisite spider and skeleton monsters, and far too many stats for anyone but the die-hard D&D fan. Dungeon Siege takes RPGs to the next level; it makes your dungeon crawl feel as exciting as a real-time strategy game and as visually engaging as a first person shooter." |
